Not quite. I got so fascinated I lost track of the number of wraps and even with a magnifying glass I couldn't count them, so the resistance is 2.2 and I wanted lower.

Using that Gizmo thing I was finally able to build a coil for my Igo-L that vapes good. Took a couple of tries to get the cotton right and how high I wanted it positioned above the deck. I did a 1.6ohm, 10 wrap on the second smallest rod.

There ARE laws about when it's allowable to use certain types of information - but the law has to catch someone, and that can be difficult.

I didn't vape it. At 2.2Ω it would have been pointless on the Reo (I'm used to 1.5Ω). I'm going to take it apart and see if I can unwrap some of the coils. If not, the little piece of wire will go and live with baby Jesus.
I'm still playing around trying to get my Reo to vape right. Sometimes awesome, other times just awful. I don't know what it is with me and the Reo, just can't seem to get them to play nice. My third one (OG mini, Grand, now Woodvil) and I still can't quite get the squonking right, or hit on a build that really works for me. It's too bad, because now and again I seem to hit the right squonk or something and it's amazing. I've had more luck with that using a long barrel LR atomizer from Kidney Puncher than the RM2 or Ikenvape i06. I'm debating whether I want to keep banging my head into this particular wall or put it up for trade in the classies like the first two.
You can always stick whatever you used to wrap the coil around back in there and pull off a few turns. Wait until you start compressing the wraps together into "micro coils" and really start to see the vapor production, throat hit and flavor coming out...will be hard going back to carto tanks after that.
And people think I'm good at finding stuff on the internet. Lol! I was an investigator before there was an internet. Skip tracing, background info and assets location were my specialty. Talk about challenging...
No way. That is just disgusting and disturbing.
I still do not get why the government still uses the SS# as the ID# on Medicare cards. Then they tell you to guard it with your life. What a joke. They will not or can not do the programming necessary to change the ID# for all their multiple cross referencing to your SS#. But let's put all your medical information on the computer so that can get spread around too. I am waiting for my last mammogram to show up on a billboard somewhere. You can not get a job or an apartment if your FICO score is too low. Bah again.
That's my plan. I have to practice compressing too. I wrapped tightly, torched and squished as much I could, but I couldn't get them any tighter. I have to give another shout out to super_x_drifter. He has been very patient with me.

I've only made a few myself, but I can do the Byleo cup/coil things quick and easy now, and it only took a couple tries to get my Russian rocking at 1.7. It's ugly, but it works. Well enuf that I'll make a better one soon, and might also want a Reo one day.

It depends on one's perspective. To a fraud investigator information is very important.
I'd like to try an i06, but they never seem to have the 1.5Ω is stock.
I had all kinds of trouble with it. Either I oversquonked and flooded the crap out of it, or it got nothing and I got a naaaaasty dry hit.
I've watched his videos and the pictorial I found very helpful - so it is the fact he responds promptly to my PMs. I said he was patient.

Give it some time. Use it exclusively for a few days or weeks if you can. You may just have to find your squonking rhythm. I do not have a Reo so take what I say with a grain of salt. When I started dripping into 510 attys it took me a bit to get the real hang of it. Now I love dripping and it is my preferred way to vape. But it took me a while to get beyond the occasional dry hits and getting used to the differences in the liquids.
I have had more dry hits with bottom-feeders (Reos and Phiddies) than anything else I've used, but I got passed it. I tried the Vapage hybrid coil and didn't like it at all. People rave about it, but I think it's designed for a Vmod and is iffy on everything else.
I hear ya, but it's tough when I know I can pick up my Provari and Kayfun and have a great hit every time without having to worry about anything but hitting the button, ya know what I mean? The only reason I'm still bothering at all is that I love the feel of a wood mod.
