So the rayon is totally rocking so far! Recoiled and rewicked the patriot with it and DAMN! Takes a little less volume than the cotton; tasted cleaner and after running a flavor through it I hit it with unflavored juice for a few drops; wiped it dry and switched flavored all together, yeah it's NICE!!!
On the kfl; it's wicking allot easier than the cotton and taste is just
Plain awesome!
It appears to be a tad less durable than silica so far but A LOT more durable than cotton.

I never tried rayon. I got 4 coils with different wicks I made going right now, silica, cotton ball, surgical cotton, and hemp.

I like the hemp and surgical cotton.

The surgical cotton has no taste to it and you don't have to boil it.
Comes in a roll $5.79 at CVS.

I've used that, and just for a bag of regular old organic cotton balls, I didn't boil them and they were good too. I love the cotton flavor; bit every tank I was changing the wick, no big deal, but when I would be on the go it was kind of pain.
What I'm digging about the rayon is the flavor is almost cleaner the cotton; but I can tell already it's gonna last a lot longer. Im curious to see how long. From what I can tell so fat it's having he begavior of silica but the taste of cotton. It's too early for me to label it that way; but, that's what observing the first little bit with it. I'm gonna give it a week before I can really say anything for certain.
