True dat! It's not unusual to have ladies similar to this running the "pat down" when entering the airport...iffn it would have been the states I would have asked to go through the line again :)

Security: sir, I'm going to need you to step into the security scanner

Me: I refuse. It's against my preferences.

Security: then I'm afraid I'm going to need one of my staff to conduct a THOROUGH pat down

Me: *looks at gorgeous russian police lady standing at the side* it is with great reluctance, but I will stand my ground. A pat down it shall be.

It's all a matter of principles really. That's all it is. :D

I have precheck. But all I get is standing in the X-ray scanners. I don't get a pat down. Hmph.

Pre-check means nothing in Moscow.

You will be "patted down" if you want to leave that godforsaken country.

Moscow itself isn't so bad, but every other place I've been in Russia is like bizarro world.

On a related note, I LOVE the m tanks. I'm resolved in fitting them on all my Russians and kfl. I just love being able to see the juice levels, and the best part.... Wait for it.....

Watching 2 tiny little bubbles floating to the top every time I puff on it. That's my latest weird obsession.

I love the bubbles, lolol!!

i dropped the voltage down on this 1.6 build to a 3.1, much much much smoother hit now.
i was vaping at 3.6 volts.

did i mention i'm in love with a russian?

There is also a Russian 91% called "The Russian Big". It is 11", I mean holds 11 ml of e-liquid. The shear size would probably overwhelm the Provari . You need a big device to mount it on. Something don't sound right.

Here's the thing. I don't want to go to Moscow. So, doesn't matter to me :)

Probably in anticipation of the popularization of the 26650 mods. I mean, I held one of those before and that thing was massive. Kinda made me feel a little. You know.

Inadequate.

Let's just leave it at that. Twiddle thumbs.

I love my Sophia, I love my Sophia, I love my Sophia....etc.....

I'm strong. I'm not tempted to buy a KF/clone. Nope, not tempted.....well, maybe..

be tempted, be very tempted, i havn't tried the sofia. i was torn between sofia and the kayfun style.

I seriously have to say I LOVE THIS RUSSIAN!
side by side comaprison, same juice, cartotank, protank, rda (igoL, octopus, igo w4 ), russian,
the russian has made my juice in the other tanks taste like crud.
they all taste extremely muted.

the russian is picking up flavors i didn't know my juice had.

also, it was sooo much easier to build than any of them.
and there isn't the harshness that i was getting with the rda's.

actually, i'm still vaping on my first build attempt. and i was shooting for 1.8, got a 1.6 and was too anxious to try my tank out so just used it.

also want to add, i wsn't expecting to like it, because i heard it was between a cartotank and a rba.

i don't find this true. i think it's in a league of its own.

Just another slant...
I knew I'd have trouble with a Russian/Kayfun - cause building a coil for me is a challenge - so I didn't want to risk also having any flaws in the device, and got a "real" Russian 91% (from Kebo). I like it enough that I have ordered another one.

- I agree, the airflow control is a key feature - it WORKS
- the adjustable (v1) 510 pin works too - and I have to use it to make a connection on different setups (ProVari with or without ring, for instance)
- The only time I got ANY leaking was because I opened the top...I use the bottom fill hole, and have zero trouble with it. It's a pretty big tank, I don't mind filling from the bottom. I suppose it would suck if you lost the little screw, but one of these days I'll pick up an extra...

Oh, and even then the leak wasn't a "spill" - just a bit of flooding. I just pushed a bit of tissue in the airhole to absorb a drop of juice, then vaped it hot for a second, and it cured a gurgle and went back to being a near-silent vape. That's something that's still funny to me - my Russian vapes VERY QUIETLY compared to a carto tank!

You didn't get any extra screws, o-rings, little screwdriver, wick and kanthal in the box ?. Especially if you buy the authentic all that stuff should have been in there.

don't mind me/
I'm giddy.
I've been searching for a perfect vape since september.

this russian has me in vape heaven.
really no matter what voltage i set it too, it tastes good, no dry hits, no gurgle, no leaking.

i just got it up and running last night. so i'm just ecstatic right now.

just have to shout out and say thanks again.
especially to Baditude, for sending me in the right direction with the provari, and the (Kayfun style) tank.
and to PoM for reccomending the specific model i purchased,
And Train and every one who talked me thru last nights airflow leaking!

I LOVE YOU GUYS!
The Kayfun style atomizer is to atomizers what the ProVari is to APV's. Something newer will come out in a month, it will have more bells and whistles (well maybe not whistles ;) ) but it won't provide a trouble free vape. I don't like having to fiddle with stuff.

If I ever buy a Semovar, it will be because of the Kayfun style tanks.
