I need to talk to some of my buddies in the R&D labs at work and see if I can score a piece of fishpaper Fishpaper is a resin impregnated fiber "paper" that is an excellent insulator, but easy to cut and work with. I want to punch out some insulating washers for my KFL, and would be willing to throw a few out to fellow ProVarinati. Would allow you to tighten the block down on the KFL, but allow the center pin to stick out a touch more Mine makes good contact, but the fact that the center pin protrudes a touch above the center block really gets to my OCD. I also would like to get the air hole in the center pin aligned with the air hole in the base.

I disassemble my atty, remove all o rings, and soak it in boiling water and dawn. I change the water after 10 mins. 3 cycles for new attys, 1 cycle just for normal maintainance.

Also just smth I personally do. I use a qtip to scrub the inside of the base (after taking out the center post). I didn't use to do that and it served me fine. But one fine day I just decided to do that to a new russian, and my qtip came out a significant shade of gray. I've been doing that for every single new atty ever since

Thanks guys! Another question: I wick my RM2 with cotton. I change the cotton frequently, since it's a bottom-feeder and can be unscrewed with just a couple of drops of juice loss. How is it done with other rebuildables? It seems like you wouldn't be able to change the wick without dumping out the tank.

Depends. With a dripper, just pull the wick and go. With genesis style, pretty much the same. With the KFL, either wait until tank is gone, or suck it out with a syringe. Won't get it all, but most of it will be saved.

Always so much to catch up on when I get home from work. Okay. First off, hope everything goes well for you tomorrow, Tina! Sending good vibes your way! As for carrying cases and such, I use a Serenity sleeve, but hate lanyards and so forth. As I mostly wear carpenter's jeans, the Provari with kayfun fits perfectly in the pocket that runs along the side of the right leg. Won't work for everyone, but works great for me! As for cleaning routines for your kayfuns, wow you guys are some serious clean freaks. Mine are lucky if they get a quick rinse under the faucet, let alone a boil. Most of the time I just wipe everything down with a vaper towel and give the coil a quick dry burn and blow off before I re-wick.

Hiyas Princess! Your talk about getting an authentic KFL has me going to the vaperev site far too often. I don't really NEED another one, but.... I wouldn't hesitate, but I have far too many toppers coming this week. In my restlessness and impatience, I snagged a Nautilus from an ebay seller while my co-op dragged on and on....which of course meant that no sooner did it come in the mail than the co-op finally gets delivery. So with that purchase, we're up to 3 Nautilus (Nautiluses? Nautilii?) Then I actually won another in a contest in the co-op thread. So I'm up to four of these freakin' things. What the heck am I supposed to do with 4? Probably gonna PIF the one I won to a friend who's just starting vaping, maybe try trading one or two. I mean, I like it and all, but it won't replace my kayfuns in my daily rotation. Mostly it'll be a "this wick is all gunked up and I'm too lazy to re-do it right now" backup. At any rate, the new shiny-ness has already worn off and I haven't even gotten three of them yet. I think the Bear just needs some new toy ideas.

Somebody here needs to put a stop to this!! I just ordered another silver mini. Polished this time. I guess it's time to PIF with the MVP's. I found that after I got the first one, I just didn't use the MVP's anymore.
I know you can't talk me out of this purchase but please, in the future.............

Imstill rock my mvp sometimes.
Although its making me mad lately with the center pin, my favorite tanks wont read on the mvp, but no problems on the provari and chi you

Ps pom, being in love with a russian sounds cooler than being in love with kayfun!
Kayfun reminds me of some sort of natural disaster.
Well it's pronounced kay-foon, just like the taifun is pronounced tai-foon like a typhoon...so you might have a point.
My buddy who ended up with my MVP (WITH the oh-so-cool dragon Jwrap) managed to lose it this week. He wants me to set him up with "something like what you use", but won't spend more than like $60.
Some people were born to rock Vamos and clone atomizers. Accept it and move on...such is the way of the Provarinati.

Well my second build is going a little rougher than yesterdays..
Its choking me. Not much vaper. And much hotter. Went from 1.6 to 1.8 but used the nano kit...
Do yall think its the nano kit or my build?

I use a nano so I'm thinking the build but don't mind me--it took me more than 30 builds to get one that seems to be working right.

Knowing what I know now some of my previous builds may have been good too but the dry hits overshadowed the build.
I forgot I could just cover the air hole with my finger & do primer pulls when I started getting dry hits.

Usually I try to wait til the tank is done, but you can also just dump it back in the bottle.

Kayfuns/R91's do require the tank to be emptied of fluid before re-wicking. This is another reason I enjoy my SQuapes so much. They can be re-wicked without emptying.
