I just got my R91% from a coop and several people are talking crazy readings and fluctuating readings. Here is one thread I found talking about it:

I am heartbroken about this. I saved up for this, my first real rba and a real good one from my research and now my R91 is sitting in it's box without even being washed yet. I do not have the technical ability to fix this thing. Group buy so no returning it so I do hope they find a fix for it real soon. It is sitting there all dejected and lonely. And it is so very beautiful. Sigh.............

This just in today!!!! Kebo posted on their Facebook that they will provide the original russian91 centre post. You can just use that instead of the one with the spring loaded 510. Not sure exactly how, but they said contact whoever you bought it from

Thank you for posting this! I'm going to contact the vendor I bought mine from immediately to ask about this issue.

Went back to look at the "not here yet" black Russian, and they changed the description - lined out the floating 510 pin and added a note saying "the first batch of black Russians will have the V1 style 2-peice center pin."
This convinced me that the vendor knows what they're doing, are probably trustworthy, and so I've pre-ordered a black russian!

Woo-hoo!


Edit - wow, they also answered an email I sent about it. Within like 10 minutes, at night.
Same thing - their black will have a v1 pin, and they mentioned the same thing "anyone having trouble with their V2 pin should contact the vendor for a replacement free from Kebo".

I just sent an email to the vendor I ordered from and included a copy of the statement on the Kebotech facebook page. I asked them if they had a plan in place if their inventory turns out to have a problem.

When I was on the Vaportek site there was a note that they wouldn't have any Russians until Kebo figured out the pin issues, but I was looking at Kayfuns and didn't pay attention.

But still, is that consistent with other people's experience? I've be reading about it and watching videos, but since I've never used a Kayfun of any kind I can't quite comprehend the subtle differences being described.

Occy, I've got the "Black Edition" they are always talking about on Mod Envy, and I actually like it better than my Russian 91%. I'd say go for that one if you are going to go for a clone.

I looked at those, but he always seems to be sold out. I was having an I WANT A TOY NOW! moment. I might buy one of the "Black Edition"(or whatever groovy has come out) later, after I have gotten bored with the Russian...like about a week from Wednesday.

I saw a gold Kayfun in my hunting, but it don't recall where. I can look for it if you'd like.


ETA: I found it again. The Russian looks matte to me. The gold Kayfun looks more "Zenkote-ish."

Me too. There were actually some people who found the juice channel too shallow (worked perfect even for my 100% VG juice though), but the new V2 black edition has pretty the same nice channels as my authentic one, as well as a 2mm air hole. Overall damned thing works like a charm and if I had to do a blind test, the ONLY way I would be able to tell them apart would be the fact that my authentic one has a slight whistle.

Edit: forgot to mention that the new black edition comes with beveled air holes. I was incredibly surprised at how silent the vape is in terms of having completely no whistle at all.

Edit edit: also forgot to mention if you're looking for it, eBay has a ton of people claiming to sell it, but only the fella called privatedeal2010 carries em. He's currently outta stock but he just set up a new website at http://www.custommodcreation.com/ where you can preorder for a great price

Only info I can find on this is a blog post. It says it's gold-plated. My concern here is that it is not brass, as brass leeches when it comes in contact with juice. Does anyone know if gold-plating is safe? I have so much brass stuff now that this would look really cool.

I bet you could contact Kebo directly and ask what to do. You could say you got it as a gift and don't know who the vendor was.
