Hi, Lauderdog! I was born and lived in Miami until about 15 yrs ago. Nowadays I live in Davie and work in Ft. Lauderdale. I just kept using this name for everything even though I moved. Miami is in my heart.

I disagree, Jen. I think you both look adorable, even if you aren't wearing any Red in the picture. Your smiles light up the room unless it was all an act and you were strangling each other up until someone whipped out a camera!

This isn't me but its close. This is my mother. The photo was made by my step dad in 1956. The location is Daytona Beach. I ran across this photo while going through old negs of my dads. I love this photo. To me it reminds me of the photos I used to see in Life and Look magazines. I miss those magazines. I love this photo because it seems to have a timeless quality and yet at the same time is firmly grounded in the 1950s. Mom is feeding birds. In the background is dad's 1955 Ford. It must have been a cool day as mom is wearing dads coat. There is a breeze blowing as the skirt blows in the wind. Mom is holding her Brownie camera. Bobby socks too. She's having a good time, a free moment. Time passes. She's 87 now but going strong. Stepdad is 85 and doing pretty well too. I might start a thread for old photos that people have. Mom and dad mailed me a postcard from that trip. I still vividly remember that postcard. Even though it might be the simplest thing that we do for the young people around us, its the world to them. Make it good. There, my therapy for the day is over. Thank you for your indulgence.
Wow!!! Beautiful pic! I, too, miss the picture magazines. We've been off loading hundreds of books past few years. Haven't gotten rid of most with wonderful pictures, though.

That's next on the list. Haven't done it before but I had never built a coil before getting the RM2 and Grand. First was getting my boyz in the pet thread D.O.G. looks so tiny it that pic. He's 60 lbs now and only 8 1/2 months old. Head getting wider and growing into his ears he's gonna be a horse. The markings on Chuckie are just off the hook. I really love them boyz.

With so many females 'n kids in that shot, I'm suprised you have any hair left. Good luck brother. I only have 1 woman no children and I can barely handle it. So you can look however the f you want as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah he's only 8 months old right now. (pic was at about 3 or 4 months) Please don't tell him he's gonna grow up to look like me. Don't want the little guy to commit Hara-kiri.
