I bought some SR Fusion cartomizers from ikenvape. They have 801 threads. They're advertised as 2.5 Ω but the one I just started using measured at 3.0 Ω on my meter. I filled it with Boba's and let it soak for several minutes. I filled a 6 mL bottle and discovered that's the last of my Boba's!

Any hoo, I'm using a 510 to 801 stealth adapter from avidvaper.com. I screwed the carto + adapter onto my Grand without a battery installed. I then used my meter to check the resistance between the ground spring and the firing pin. 3.2 Ω. Ok... should be good to go without creating a short circuit.

I didn't think a 3.0 Ω carto with ~0.2 Ω resistance added from the Grand would vape very well at 3.7 volts. Nevertheless, I popped in a fully charged AW IMR 18650 (4.2 volts from the get go) and took a hit.

That's pretty darn good!

Then the 4.8 volt NiMH battery. (5.25 volts starting out)

That's pretty darn good, too!

Fusions on a Reo? Heh... nice to stumble across something different that rocks.

Heard a lot of good things about the 801 fusions. Glad you like them. Just got some of the Gold V2's and waiting for them to come in to give them a try. Need to re-up on batteries too when the AW IMR 14500's come back in stock along with the 4.8 batts you were talking about.

Man I tried those gold V2 a month back after some good reviews ....... I hate to throw the word "suck" around too often but hey .... Super tight draw on any REO and poor flavor and even poorer vapor :(

Good luck, I hope you enjoy them.

You probably already know, but Boba's is available again, I ordered some along with some Gorilla Juice yesterday.

Good to hear. I ordered 60ml's last time and thinking of ordering more but I have way to much juice right now. Anyways, I did order some banana slurry and hype to try out:laugh:

Ah crap, I wish I would've post that up before I made the purchase. Would've saved me from experiencing the same thing. I think this is what I get from being away from the REO sub-forum for to long. Anyways, if it doesn't work on the Reos than I might just try it on my 5v passthrough and see how it does.

Man, should've ordered some fusions like Mudflap did

Well, I've just gotten the V2's in and yes, they do pretty much suck. The draw on the first one was like trying to drink a milkshake through a straw but the draw on the second one was better though. The biggest thing that I dislike is the TH which is pretty darn weak.

Did a full review on the burning cartomizers thread and like I said there. When I get my hands on the VV ego batt than I'm gonna try it at 4.2V and see if it does any better.

I've been using my 1.7ohm "resurrector" for a couple days now. I forgot how cartos taste and "feel" different. I was kinda put off at first but today I have been enjoying it immensly. The TH is definately up there. I actually coughed a few times since I've been using it. Its amazing how I got used to NOT coughing all the time. Made me appreciate how much better I feel to be off the cigs!

So now that I am getting used to the carto differences I am enjoying it alot! the next test is to see how long it lasts before it dies or clogs up. I also ordered some Boge LRs and Andrew at Jooglerjuice tossed in a coupld 1.7ohm smoketech cartos for me to try (same as what CCV calles resurrectors). I'm hoping 32 cartos will last me a good long while!

I know what you mean about the taste and feel JT, LOL. I also purchased some of the resurrectors to try out (after NOT using cartos for about 6 months). It was definitely an "oh this is why I stopped using them" moment. I put the carto aside for a few days, revisited it again and ended up quite liking it. Once the juice absorbed and settled into it, I didn't get tha icky filler kind of taste anymore. I gotta say, these vape a heck of a lot better than the old-style cartos did! I also tried one of the dual-coil cartos...another "wow" moment...very nice!

I don't even hit the fire button once until a carto has soaked overnight anymore ..... I'm spoiled that way :)

Doesn't matter how you fill them either .... Drip, Condom, Syringe .... No substitute for absorption time !!

Yep, I tried the V2 gold at 3.7 and it was weak ....

5v was way too much. Honestly I think they would stink at any voltage for my taste :(

Hope you didn't buy too many.

Actually bought 11 of them to try out. 10 of them don't have the drip tips. The ones without the drip tip actually had a nice draw but the TH wasn't there at all.

Also, heard from Katya on the burnt cartomizers thread that the batch I got is the new ones due to the horizontal coil. Which makes it a first for me since I've never used a horizontal coiled 510 carto before.

I've bought all sorts of different cartos, ressurectors, dual coils, now I'm experimenting. After every new one I try, I kinda come back to the 2.0 +-2 ohm Boge and prefer these. The duals a too loud, the remainder are too long.

Once I use all these up. I think I'm going to stick to Boge.

Been there ... Done that.

Boge 2.0Ω LR Cartomizers are where its at for me.

Although I would never fault a carto for being to loud .....
It could play the star spangled banner when I hit it for all I care ..... If it works or tastes better I'd use it :)

I work for an investment bank in NYC - I rarely get to squeak out for breaks during my busiest days. Sometimes I'm stuck vaping in my cube, so I need to do it incognito... Loud cartos don't matter outside of work, but make it next to impossible to stealth vape in the office.

It's a unique problem. I'm convinced if I worked at a small-scale firm, my bosses would be all for me vaping at my desk and not taking 10 breaks periodically to smoke, but that's not the case.
