I'm assuming you want to use the eGo cone on your REO for aesthetic purposes?

Yep, I know all about the benefits of cartos on a REO .... I started this thread :):):):)

I was asking why the cone ???

I know you did, this thread is why I bought a REO {{thanks}}

The air flow and the warmth provided by the cone changes vaping for me, I feel like I am smoking again.

I love it. With a Boge 2.0 or a dual-coil, it's identical to smoking to me. The air flow and the warmth changes everything. Try it.

Well I'm game to try anything :) Plus I am bored so I have been giving it a shot for the last 20 min.
I'm finding it doesn't really change anything ?? I'll give it while then take it back off and see if I feel any difference though.

I thought it would at least tighten the draw like it does on the eGo, but not feeling that either.
I never ran the cone when used eGos either, I like the draw lighter I guess.

Thats one reason I like the Boge cartos over the dual coil .... the DC cartos are way too stiff on the draw.

For feeling like smoking, pop some LiFpo4 3 volts batts in there and get a IKV 3.5Ω atty.
6v with that atty is just like smoking a cig.

Interesting...I've never had a device with a cone...something to think about. Thanks, NicLiq.

Thanks :)

I spent my first 3 weeks on a Riva not using the cone because someone said that it was only for looks, but it traps the warmth in and changes the inhale. I really like it.

My husband likes the lighter draw too. To me, it's night and day difference. I'm using a wider Riva cone made for LR, they came with a carto kit from L-F. I don't notice the draw being tighter, just warmer and more full if that makes sense. I was a hardcore cigarette smoker, they ruled my life for 30 years.

I haven't tried 6v on the REO yet, I will though - thanks.

I still don't get why you use a carto on a reo? Just so you don't have to squonk as often?

I haven't used cartos on mine, but the consensus seems to be 1) cartos taste different and some people like the taste better or 2) cartos keep the drip well dry (and let you carry a little more juice on board).

The reason I do is because I am not good at dripping. Maybe it's the action of pulling through a filter too, plus the warmth.

I squonk pretty often. For me it's about consistency, not about the carto holding juice. On a dual-coil clear, once it's nearly empty, you see the juice go where it's supposed to go. I've never refilled a carto (after initial fill) on my REO.

They last longer without messing with for me.

I can go many days without touching a carto on a REO .... with attys I am switching out every day or two.
The draw is lighter and much more consistent.
Flavor is much more consistent ... though less than an atty
The catch cup stays dry all the time so no need to worry bout a few drops in the pocket.
Some juice flavors taste better on a carto than they do on an atty.
They use less juice than an atty ... much less in my experience

And its an extra ml of juice .... 4ml out with you instead of 3ml with the Mini for instance :)

Oh, and no cleaning ... just use them and chuck 'um :)

Is that enough reasons ?? :)
They have their time and place. Out of 4 REOs, one has a carto on full time.
Another 50% of the time.
And sometimes all 4 of mine are sporting a cartomizer at the same time :)

Don't get me wrong, a good atty has it time too, but its nice to have choices.

Cartos vape great on the REO but I think cost is another big reason for using cartos....

I typically got about two weeks of use out of an atomizer (occasionally less) and so far I've experienced anywhere between 10 to 14 days on a carto. I've only gone through three cartos so I think it is too early to really put an average on it but at less than half the price of an atomizer it seems well worth it in the long run. At a $1.70 a piece it's worth looking into....

Buying atomizers in bulk, I pay around $4.83 an atomizer (That factors in Shipping) buying 20 at a time. That's about 34 1/2 cents per day where as the carto if it averages to the low figure of ten days is only 18 cents a day (again factoring in shipping)... Extrapolate that out to a yearly cost and the atomizers were costing me $125.92 where the cartos cost $65.70. That leaves a lot of room for juice.

Does anyone else use a cone on their carto on their REO?

I am lost in a hardware store, but I'm sure there's some kind of rubber O-ring thingy that I could put over the top of the carto to keep the cone from slipping off. Anyone know what size that would be?

Someone out there makes a 510/510 adapter that has threads for the cone so it can be used on anything.
Saw it a week ago or so.
Can't find it now:(
Someone on here will know where to get it :) (I hope)

This is one, but I don't know if it will work on a Reo.

Thanks!, I bet it would work with the new Echo-e cartos too?!
