Morning Reoville,
So my coworker went ahead and got himself a Black/Black Wrinkle grand....and doesnt seem to like it. He's always fiddling with it and opening it and squonking then putting it down and going outside to smoke. I've been trying to help him with it as much as I can, but he's just had enough of it. So he made me an offer, my vamo + whatever carto/clearos & some juice for his Reo/RM2........:toast::rickroll::banana:

Since the boss is not here today, and I live 10 minutes from here, I think im going to take an early lunch break to go home and grab whatever I have left. Will post pics later, this would be my 2nd Reo, and all for stuff I was either going to PIF/Trash at some point. Now I do intend on giving him the difference in $ as its a completely unfair trade but knowing him he wont take it......so perhaps just a sufficient amount of juice.

Somehow this feels kind of wrong, but i'll be providing a loving home for an unwanted Reo.........

Nah...we all need to reach the point where vaping takes over in our own way. Just remember, your coworker is still smoking. As most of us know, the chemicals in those cigs really have a tight hold over us and makes dealing with change really hard, if not impossible. To be honest, I feel badly for anyone in the vaping industry dealing with those trying to work through transition. People on the verge of quitting are highly impatient and irrational....speaking from personal experience here. I was a hard sell on vaping...it took me 6 months to transition and I was not a happy person to deal with. He may just not be ready yet. :) Hell, it took me two weeks before I would even admit I liked the Reo.

He's been vaping for roughly 3 months now, and had more success with Carto-tanks. He got rid of those for a Reo somewhere along the line and just hated it from the start. Could be that bottom feeders are just not for him, as he does like to do things the hard way :)
Either way, I've agreed to keep an open mind in the event he wants to give Reo's another shot and would gladly reverse the trade if he decides, as long as he continues to put an effort to quitting then all is well.

One step at a time I suppose, he's still finding his way through vaping. My unused stuff I was keeping as a backup in the event Reo's didnt work out for me, but they've been collecting dust since first vape.

My niece is the same way...she hasn't been able to quit, but just doesn't want to try the Reo. So we help her as best we can in the hopes that she can find her way. :)

Morning Lisa :) hows it going ? hows the car ?

Hi Darrel...it's going good. Just doing a little catch up before I dive into today's builds. Haven't heard anything on the car yet, but I'm not too worried about it. I must say, I am handling this a lot better than I thought I would. The last car I had that had a major breakdown, I had a major meltdown over it. It was a total lemon and should never have been sold off the lot until they checked all the recall information. Anyway...as a result of my meltdown they bought the car back from me (they could have just said 'too bad, so sad'...it was within their right to do so) and sold me a better one severely discounted. So it all worked out.

Glad to see you taking some time off to mend.

Thanks ya I'm needing it I am already whooped and its only 9am  Really curious what the issue which the car is tho :)

Ya me too. Here is what the tech was thinking yesterday. They had codes that two cylinders misfired, #1 and #2. They tried to replicated the misfire but couldn't. So they moved the coils for 1 and 2 to 3 and 4. If they can get another misfire on any of them, they'll be able to tell if its failing coils or a combustion chamber issue.

Good morning REOville... need more coffee... of course dodgers would go into extra innings during the week, ugh... but I couldn't leave, I was sitting behind the plate lol.

The coffee pot is over there on the counter....freshly brewed, I might add. Cream is in the fridge, sugar is next to the coffee pot. :) Help yourself.

Id almost guess a comp issue I had issue with my throttle pedal dropping to the floor with no throttle years ago a very unnerving thing at times  no revving like yours did and no smoke just no throttle at all just an idle it turned out the main comp was giving faulty voltages sometimes took 4 years to find that issue

Yikes...that would have had me agitated. Could be the computer though...they just updated it last week when they did the 15k mile service.

so much of these things are computer controlled now even the throttle is theres a sensor order you gas pedal that tells at the main comp how much gas to give the car  then another comp on the other end its nuts but thats how it all is now One of our work trucks the other day I noticed had no speedo so on a hunch I shut the truck off and restarted it and the speedo came back  computers I tell ya
