They are in my old grand and working very well!
They are better contacts which means you can either run higher resistance coils for the same vape, use the ones you have now with better battery life, or go totally stupid and run 0.3Ω dual coils and not worry about collapsing springs and sparks all over the place.

I have a 14500 Reo Mini (three years old!) and two 18490 Reos about two years old. I'm guessing the sub-ohm kits are for newer models (?).

Did the same thing with TCB and while I was at it HRH. LOL
I keepa learn'n everyday!
All metal Reo rebuild kits from now on will feature the new springs, firing pins and materials i believe. The sub-ohm distinction the kit has now will disappear, since all of them will employ it.
