I really love how my Walnut/Bocote Woodvil turned out after I sanded off the poly.

Got it super smooth! Let it sit with Howard's wax for about 4 days. Wiped what was left off and it is pretty!

i just checked the pic thread. nothing there.

so it didn't really happen :)

Ohhhh Karen, loved the video. Played it twice. :)

I'm not sure but I don't think there's any such thing as a "not perfect" reo

I have played it many times in a row! It had me hooked when they played it lots on the radio. The video is even better!

That is how it was listed in the classy's when I got it. It has a splinter missing from the side where it meets the door. Created a little space. I didn't usually let stuff like that bother me when purchasing. Loved to take in the less loved wood REO's! This one was used a lot, many wear marks. Lots of them have been sanded off now! I think it is pretty. And I promised to keep him safe here with me.

i have a Woodvil that i can't get the door open on, but, yah, it's still perfect :)

Put it in a bag of rice and seal it. That might remove some of the moisture. You might want to sand a little off the sides of the door when you get it off.

Oh that is absolutely gorgeous wood. I think I might also have developed a wood fetish to go along with my stainless steel. That is beautiful. :)

Thanks Torey! The Bocote door has the letter K in the grain. It is funny that I have a Woodvil with a Bocote door that looks almost the same. Like it was cut from the same block just further into the block. Same pattern overall.
