More biker stories: I was at a bar one night and one of the two competing clubs in town was at the bar (which is a rarity. You can't normally have more than one club in a territory.) The president of the club, who I knew but that was the extent of it, left without saying goodbye and I was rather offended. So I said some choice words to him including the F U words. We went out and talked and he told me he was coming into my house one night to slit my
throat. I said bring it on. He eventually capitulated and offered me the chance to probate (first step to joining, kind of like hazing in fraternities,) and said he would sponsor me.
Why do I say all this? One, to kind of give y'all the lowdown on how I'm everything and nothing like my avatar (major in college was mathematics...) Second, I was bullied as a child and once I grew up I decided no more. I don't take anything from anybody. But if things go south I'll walk away. Takes a stronger man for that kind of discipline than most.
So now, y'all know a little bit more about me. I'll quote Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings (who I don't believe wrote the song but drove it to number 1 on some charts. "Them that don't know him won't like him and them that do, Sometimes won't know how to take him."
Well, that's my life!
