Yep...light and breezy here too...for a little while anyway. 62°, sunny and comfortable. By 5 pm, this place will be cooking like hell's half acre (the house we live in) as it will be well over 80°, yet feel like 110° with humidity. I love summer mornings, hate the evenings in this place. You can tell I am from the North, anything over 74° turns me into a 2nd level demon.

Hi Reoville,

I threw my mini 2.1 up in the classys. If you guys know of anyone looking for one send them over.

Thanks guys!

So anyway, I haven't been here in a while, how's everyone doing?
It's good to see you! :) I has been a while.
We're good...but tired. Too much going on. Looking forward to a quiet fall, but daughter starts high school this year, so I don't see much quiet happening. LOL!
How have you been?

I've been good. Very busy for a while now with my "real" job and new ventures. I would like to have a quiet fall but that's not an option in our house. 3 out of the 4 of us have birthdays in the fall and my son starts his fall soccer season and cross country. Oh well, if I wasn't putting in 18 hour days I'd think something was wrong. It's amazing how much there is left to do at the end of the day.

Hahaha...you ARE busy. Most of us have winter or spring birthdays, so I'm glad that part is over for the year. My daughter is starting NJROTC this year....with dreams of going to Anapolis after high school....so our "free" time (what little of it we have) has just been reserved for cadet training and events until she gets her drivers license. YIKES! OMG...that's just around the corner!!!

That's great, good luck to her! My little girl is going to be 5 in October, it's hard to take sometimes realizing that she's that old already and going to be 16 soon! I wish she would just stay the way she is.

It's very cool to me that your daughter has such high aspirations. That tells me she had really great, hard working parents and she picked up on that.

Hahaha...yes, there are days I miss the cuddling. In fact, the other night it was too hot to be in the house, so I took my tablet outside and laid in the grass. Teagan showed up shortly there after to cuddle. She's a bit big for that now, but I never miss a chance while I still have her around (and loving me.)

I'm so proud I can hardly stand it. We're tough parents, most kids would hate to live under our roof. We're fair and give lots of reward, but the price is high. If you want it, you gotta work for it...as with everything in life. She wants big things in life, but she knows we can't afford the types of college she wants to go to, so we have been discussing the Academy and after looking at all the pros and cons, she says it's a no brainer. We have good connections with our senators and congressman, so we'll be fine there. I know a lot can change in 4 years and she may very well change her mind....it's her choice after all, not ours. I'm just trying to keep my excitement down to a dull roar and have already made a promise not to buy my Navy Mom gear until AFTER she signs on the dotted line.
