Doing pretty good thanks. The new puppy is so much fun. She is what I hoped for in a new puppy. We got her before I was ready to but that's normal
3 dogs is a lot in a place like we are in but it's all great. I love my dogs more than I do most people.

Got my earthquakes mixed up. The one at 4:30 in the morning was the San Fernando quake, also known as the Los Angeles quake. That was the closest and hardest quake I was in. That was in 1994.
My little brother was down there on vacation. He was on his way home drove out of there pretty much a half hour before it hit. He said he felt pretty lucky

Good afternoon all. Glad all is well for those that experienced the quakes. I just can't imagine anything other than my reo rocking my world.

Slept in, but been up for about 3 hours just being a slug.
Reading the news and hoping all those hurt in the quake recover quickly. I've only really felt a couple of quakes in my life, but the biggest was the Nisqually quake of 2001. We live a long way from where it hit, but it's effect was not lost on us up here, seeing the ground move like a wave and feeling like we were on a big swing.... I was scared. Hopefully, I never feel that again. You couldn't pay me enough to live in more earthquake prone areas....

Yeah, I meant to correct you on that but was caught up reliving the moment. Northridge was at about 7:45am... Oddly enough the Whittier quake was I think about the same time of day...
Yeah, I ended up catching myself on that. Being from California, I lose track of what quake when.
Well, I haven't been back to Cali since I moved here 2 yrs ago, but seem to recall there is at least a tremor like every 3 minutes. They are so minute you can't even feel them when they happen...
I haven't been back since I left in 2003. I'd like to go back just to visit again. My sis still lives in LA and haven't seen her in years.

Do I like quiet nights?
So I'm sitting here watching YouTube videos on making homemade wine. Da boy (my son) has a nice sized Scuppernong vine and I am excited because they are getting pretty ripe and I get to try something new. I guess I am a late bloomer because I just started drinking last year. I love my sweet wine.
