Thanks Kay, I appreciate the thoughts. Hopefully I will. As it is they're not even letting him talk to me. Which is just plain wrong.... I've been the one constant in his life over the past year and they're taking that away from him. :(

i hope you will prevail buddy hang in there

Hi Fleet :)
Doing good. sporting a bit of a headache...but pushing through it. Watching the GB/Hawks game. GB is a good team having a tough night in Seattle. How are you this evening? Relaxiing a bit?

I'm doing ok. Playing the guitar and keeping calm, cool and collected. Or at least trying to :) It's so easy to know what to do, harder to put in practice..... I certainly do try to practice what I preach though so I'll be damned if I won't listen to my own advice :)

Hahaha...I hear you. I've had to ground myself a few times recently, sent myself to my room even. Is it raining where you are? That is something that always lulls me to peaceful sleep when I'm agitated...the sound of rain.

I wish it were. A great thunderstorm would do the trick. Watch the clouds at play and then turn in. Alas, not meant to be tonight. However, as long as there is no storm within I'm doing ok :)

Edit: And I am enjoying my practice on the guitar, that always takes my mind to a good place.

For me, it's the same pasture.....different pattie everyday lately. I'm thinking maybe I should take up the guitar or something.

Playing the guitar is a wonderful thing. You really need to focus on it, but if you love it like I do it's a joy, not a chore. Does take a lot of work and the guitar isn't the easiest instrument to play. But really, anything you can find that you love to do will never seem like work. Musical instruments or some other hobby. Just something you really love and want to do. It does wonders to keep you focused on having fun :)

Been playing the guitar for seven years. It's one of the most relaxing and joyful things to do. To be able to create music with your own two hands. :)

Indeed. Acoustic or electric (or both)?

Edit: I'm sitting here now learning Led Zeps "Over the hills and far away". The acoustic in that song is a lot of fun to play :)

Both. Started on acoustic, moved on to electric. Now switching back and forth between the two, although my electric is currently out of commission as it turned into a home project of creating a fretless guitar :D
