Morning PeePs,

Veteran's Day has passed us by and already thinking about Thanksgiving. I have never cooked a turkey and DW says they don't even sell them in Korea so thought of giving it a go this year. Looking to buy a turkey deep fryer to get my feet wet since it looks simple enough. Why do I feel like Napolean ? Anyone know if the bird needs to be placed in a salt bath before frying?

"Black Friday" is around the corner but most stores will have specials before that, I think Costco from the 21st but most on turkey day. Hope I don't see any of you lined up in front of Wally World in the news ;). BTW, they just posted their BF ad http://weeklyad.walmart.com/Walmart...eGtBQUhBV2YwY0FBQUFr&affillinktype=10&veh=aff

Got some goldfish today that are long fin comets, will post a pic after changing the tank water. Some of my tropical fish passed, I think because of the cooler nights we've been having (or the dirty water). R.I.P.

Extreme weather/natural disasters continues, violent crime going up, ISIS, ebola, Capitol Hill will continue to be a mess and they say there's no Nibiru or Apocalypse. WTH!!!? Then all of this must be our own fault.

Sorry for the loss of your fish. I kept fancies for a few years until every one broke my heart. They are extremely hard to keep. Comets are much easier..good luck with them.
I have had friends do fried turkeys and they just rub them down with cajun spice. I have heard my nephew does a mean brined turkey..I have heard they are awesome.

.

Not sure if they do nor not, but I know dear old mom did every year, until she started ordering the precooked ones from the local meat market. Now all she does is chill it for a day then put it in the oven until the little plastic thermometer pops out.

Good morning Reoville!!

Yep looks like winter is trying to sneak in. Gonna be in the 20's here in Georgia by Friday. Burrrr.....

Where at in Georgia, I'm in Valdosta. I haven't looked at the weather forecast yet, but that sounds terrible.

Yeah this wintery mix lately is a nice change, but I hate having to dig out the jackets and put away the shorts and short sleeve t's.

I looked at my forecast for this week and Friday here in Southern Georgia the prediction is a high of 61 and a low of 36.

Hello REOvillians!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying out of the weather. Just thought I'd pop in and say a quick "hello" to you all :)

The place had a facelift since I have been around.

Yea, I know!!! I came back maybe just over a week ago, and thought I was at the wrong forum! I kept googling it to find the one that looked like the one I left!

Hello Reoville. Everybody stay warm and cozy. Well I finally broke down and bought some new AW IMR 1600s. My old ones( 3 total)were purchased in August of 2011. I guess they don't owe me anything. Batteries are like car brakes. You never really notice how bad they are because they deteriorate gradually. Then someone else drives your car and freaks out, Anyway these new batteries seem to be hitting harder than the old ones and they are not broken in yet. Got a new lens today. Its like Christmas. Best lens I've ever had. Yea me! Now to box up that Woodvil.Tomorrow, there's always tomorrow, until there isn't.

New batteries is always a good thing.
I just ordered new batteries, but did not go with AWs this time. Crossing fingers that the new ones perform half as well.

FYI - Co-op Interest thread going on. . . http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coop-planning-discussion/621912-samsung-inr18650-25r-coop-interest-thread.html Just thought I'd let ya'll know if anyone is interested. Looks like the price is going to be $4.10 a piece. Four minimum order.
