happy Sunday morning Reoville!

it's amazing what new spark plugs, battery and tires can do! my Jeep is purring again with the V6 pick up I knew she had in her. still more repairs/maintenance to get done, but this was a fantastic start, and makes me less sad that my Grand had to move on. fuel system, adjustable ball joints and differentials are up next!

went out with friends to a new BBQ spot last night- live band, great food and friends.. good times!

kids are home this weekend- lots of cleaning and projects to get done.. after Mum has her coffee, that is.

Lisa, glad you're safe! hope those affected are as well.

Morning Joss, and all. Sorry you had to sell your Grand, but glad things are working out for you. Today is wife's BDay. Got her some glass drip tips. She was thrilled with them. I'm going to have to try and get myself together today so I can take her to dinner somewhere.

Kay, Just wanted to let you know...

My daughter hasn't stopped wearing her hat since I gave it to her. She ran up to me the other day and said tell your friend thanks, I love my hat sooooooo much! So a huge THANK YOU!

It just occurred to me ....that little one is smart, cuz she'll outgrow it by next year, so that means another hat!!!!

thanks Tim! it was scary actually- flat tire (piece of metal!) in the parking lot at work Thursday, got on my spare, then on the ride to the tire/repair shop engine light comes on with lots of sputtering and lagging.. isht hit the fan all at once- so glad I didn't stall out on the highway! she stayed over at the repair shop for two days- Friday my man let me use his car to get to work and they gave me the estimate for the work to be done on Saturday.. they gave me discounts, thankfully, and I'm glad I was able to sell the entire Grand package to one person! and get in some extra hours working form home Thursday and Friday evening.

now I have some beastly tires and a well powered machine! but need adjustable ball joints to stop the "stock Jeep" issue with uneven tread wear- sick of getting tires every 2 years! the fuel system flush and differentials need to be done now anyhow- 2006 with 108k- she is in need of some serious lovins.

happy wife, happy life.. is that what they say? LOL have a great time tonight!!

i took my car to one garage 4 weeks ago - since i had had the back brakes replaced. They told me the fronts needed doing too and the rotors were worn yadda yadda $250.

So i took it to another place last weekend and they took all the wheels off and reckoned the fronts had 50% left. Bill - $9.99.

The service manager there was vaping on a Zmax (we all start someplace), so i took him some juice on Monday as a thanks for not fleecing me!

Good Evening, Reoville!

just got back from a date with another ex-girlfriend.

the astute reader may surmise that my posting this here at a relatively early hour suggests the date did not quite go as well as i would have liked

ETA: but i did manage to get her interested in my Woodvil, so...

nice when you can find a shop like that! the one I go to is right down the street- local guys, all live in this community, love their honesty, and so glad the engine issues were just a battery and spark plugs, not something more expensive and serious. didn't charge me for the tests and giving her a good look over, either!

Good morning, everyone! :)
hiya Lisa your up kinda late eh ?
Ya...I was. I went to bed not long after that post. Good morning, Scott :)
From the looks of that they might not ever find some that are missing.
Ya...its a mess. I feel just awful for everyone.
Rhap....
Saw pics on the news.....but nothing like YOURS!!
Glad to hear you weren't directly affected!!:)
Ya, those photos came from folks on facebook and local news. And thank you...I'm super glad too. Just feel terrible for everyone. I have clients in that area and haven't heard from them yet. So I'm crossing my fingers. I know they've probably been evacuated and knowing them, they're probably out helping neighbors and friends.
Good Sunday Morning REOVille. Glad to hear you're OK, Lisa. East Coast is crowded, but it don't dance (as in shake or slide).
Anyways, Hoping Everyone in REOVille has a Safe and Blessed Sunday :)
Thanks Brett :) Yes, you are right, but the East coast also has wicked storms....not sure that's a trade off I'd be willing to make.

Blue...it was about the card and remembering things. Since someone deleted your post I can't remember exactly. lol

Happy B-day to the Mrs

No problem, I was just a little confused and then the post was deleted. I think I know why now. There was a word in it that was probably unacceptable.
