No, I mean use a different operating system, other than Winblows. Like OS-X or Linux. Not using Internet Exploder is a given.

Used to run Firefox but it started attacking me when my back was turned. Chrome has treated me fairly well. I am ready to learn some computer stuff too...*eyes mostly open and trying to read computer stuff on half a cup of coffee*

Yesterday was a good day for me. I had a referral to an orthopedic surgeon to look at my hip. I've been in pain and limping for about 9 or 10 months. I could stand for about 5 minutes before pain set in and forced me to sit down. I've been a fairly active person most of my life. So xrays were done and the dr. said my hip is a bloody awful mess. So the good news. I'm getting a new hip in May. Titanium in the femur, ceramic ball and metal cup. I'm really looking forward to this summer. And I will refrain from being political here.
Garbage pick up will still be on Wednesdays in Reoville.

Oh my goodness Loren! I hope they do a bang up job for you and you heal quickly and completely! Who have you hired for trash pickup? Don't look at me...I'm already keepin the coffeepot going....

Well I'm sure some good Reonaut will fill in for trash pick up. I will call the hospital to find out their policy on vaping. Calling to ask though really goes against my grain. I've always found it better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. And I can really act dumb when needed. That comes naturally to me. THe Ipad will be with me. I would think they have wifi. I hope I can hand out badges.
I've run Windows 7 with Microsoft Security Essentials, Ccleaner and Malwarebytes for a long time with no issues. Knock on wood(vil).

Good for you! Hubby had both hips replaced and was in less pain immediately after surgery than he was before. Great solution for him, hope you have the same results.
I don't want to irritate anyone and I really do try to never tick anyone off with my vaping (don't want to give the ANTZ any ammunition), but I vape in hospitals. I do not flaunt it. I do not do it in front of the nurses or doctors. It really is technically against the rules or so I was told. But, since they can't see or smell smoke the folks that work there just don't say anything. Heck, I don't think they even know.
I do know that smoking can delay healing but since they offer patches to smokers, I would hope the nicotine is not the culprit.
Love it: Forgiveness rather than permission. My mantra for years now.
I wouldn't ask. I would take my stuff so at least when you're able to get around you can sneak a vape int the bathroom.

I'd be vaping wherever I wanted... and it should work especially if the juice flavor has a good smell, tho the aroma only lasts for a sec.

It's slowed down my puter a lot! it even attached itself to my programs list and no matter what I try, according to professional help ( things i searched for online) the dirty bugger's still there. Now when i go to my homescreen, this nasty bugger is there! It's acting like my home page.
It just now even showed up in my programs list!
