Now I want ice cream. Or frozen custard. The freezer must have eaten it all up cause there just ain't none. Oh well. I am going to the store tomorrow. I am going to put frozen desserts on the list. I am really getting into vanilla ice cream of late. Have you ever tried it with walnuts or pecans and sugar free maple syrup on top? It is soooo good. Cause of the diabetes I get no sugar added in most everything. At least in ice cream it doesn't seem to ruin it!

really want ice cream....

Put a spot of maple syrup or brown sugar and a pile of cinnamon inside a cored apple bake in the oven for about 20 the smother in melted Ice cream yumm :D it's healthy that way. You may need an extra shot of regular insulin though

Thank God I am not insulin dependent...yet. If I don't get bunches of weight off and start exercising I will be shooting up in no time.

I am lactose intolerant but for some reason ice cream doesn't really hit me hard. I eat it so seldom that might be part of it!

Good Sunday Morning REOVille. :nun:

Slept 11 hours last night, I guess I must have needed it. Garden watered early. before the sun comes over the woods. Now Mamaw is calling my name. I guess I'll have to go force myself to eat Eggs, Bacon, Homemade Biscuits and Gravy. Won't take much effort to get that down, though ;)

Morning Reoville!

It's been a while since I've needed advise...well...I've probably needed a lot:)...but this has to do with a mod issue.

I have this second hand mod that just won't behave no matter how i baby it ( such a brat). It simply won't fire. I've checked the batt, it's fully charged, I used the volt meter in the 510 connection with the fresh batt installed, that reads well, but when I attach an RM2
that works perfectly on another wood, it simply won't fire...and yes, the on-off switch is on:laugh:

Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking it needs new innards at the 510 area...

It's only one of them, Lisa, but it just came back from Rob with apparently no issues, so I'm at a loss at this point.:(

No...I mean send the rba and the mod back to Rob. :) If you have one that isn't working right, it's always helpful to send the RBA or atty back with it so he can see if the issue is the mod or the RBA. In this case, I'm sure it's the mod, but it would help him narrow down where the issue is.

It sounds like the center pin on the 510 connector is too low and not making contact with the RM2. There is a slot in the center pin and you can probably just turn it counterclockwise with a flathead screwdriver to raise it a bit. But I've only had my Reo for about 3 weeks and more seasoned Reo vet may need to confirm this.

Thank you...I'm gonna go try this..again.. I already did it once and it still didn't work, that's why I'm thinking it needs all new 510 connection innards...in the meantime, i'm gonna go find an "old" new regular attie, juice it up and try that on it.

ok, here's what I just tried..a new reg. attie, it worked fine, then i rotated an RM2 screw out a bit, but no firing...so I rotated it out a bit more and then the mod fired! And then I noticed that the RM2 fit very tight on the rim of the catch cup. This is an older woodvil so I'm thinking that the new RM2's are too large in circumference to fit down far enough to make contact? Do I need to get the catchcup milled down to accomodate the RM2's?

p.s. I already turned the center pin on the 510 connecter...and I noticed that it was moving the tube,too....scared me!.....but the mod still wouldn't fire.
I really don't want to mess with my RM2's...I'm very likely to break them!

and i will NOT use regular old-fashioned atties on this or any of my beauties! That's blasphemy! They deserve only the best...which is RM2's/brass.

Actually I think it's the center pin on the mod not the rm2 since that same rm2 works fine on the other mods.
