So back in the bayou after an incredible Easter with my family. 16hrs of driving in 72hr period:)
Interest in this "new guy" at the job site putting our egos w/ce4's on top to shame has hit an all time high today:)
I've been passing out reosmods.com info everywhere. Most of these construction workers still smoke and vape, but hey progress not perfection someone once said:)
My mind was blown as well as the "co-workers" when at lunch I discovered a "gifted" curly oak woodvil in my po box!!!!
Thank you Dennis!!!!! I'm back in my zone down here with woodvil in hand:) I thought these guys were in a frenzy before, after checking out the curly oak, just jaw dropping all over the project site:)
I feel like uncle traveling Matt (fraggle rock:)) in this new strange land, with strange customs. Construction that is, not my native Louisiana.
Thanks to Dennis, I'm gonna loan out my original reo (the only one I've had with me down here) to a guy and let him experience what a quality vape is all about. I pretty sure he can't hurt it, I've got R41 wire around ceramic wick. It's pretty much indestructible. Nice to have become the newest resident "vape expert". These guys and gals all smoke so darn much, and really most of em would love to quit just like all of us have experienced.
Dennis thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. you have brought alot of joy around this RV trailer and jobsite:)
I felt pretty decadent with a woodvil in hand and 5 track hoes swinging all around me moving the earth. Concrete slabs are poured daily and this little beast is gonna git r dun:)
take care my friends

Ya I think I will call the local store tomorrow and ask if they have one in store and how long the sale is. :) My DW loves those trees so it was a no brainier. I took out a Japanese maple in the front as I hate the leaves they drop but this is good as I can mow all around this so the mower can clean up the mess :)

What's up Scott ?
not much buddy love the tree :)

Yep...someone had mentioned I should take that part out, but honestly...how many older reos are out there and how many of them are going to get the upgrade?

I thought every single one from this day forward will be made using the upgrade? So only the "older" ones will need to be filed right?

Thanks for thinking of me, unfortunately I am not feeling well at all. I find myself using the arnica rub, pain pills, ice, heat and a brace more frequently in any attempt to stop the pain which has been waking me at night now. I had an ortho appointment today and told the doc. She checked the xrays from the last surgery, the last appt 3 months ago and today. There is growth of the bone again underneath which was noted last time, and has gotten bigger. I already had the arthroscopic surgery and she said they usually don't do that again. Cortisone shots might work, but trauma clinic doesn't do that. So she pretty much turfed me. I have an appointment in 6 months with the sports side of the ortho clinic since I was in the trauma side and the trauma was "fixed." The sports people would have more experience with chronic stuff I guess. I think I am fubar'd.

I am so sorry you are having so much pain. My SO has had 2 back surgeries, a couple months after the second one he was in more pain than he had ever been in. For two years no one could figure out what was wrong. Finally, a neurologist read his MRI and found that he has something called arachnoiditis, the nerves spidered out after the 2nd surgery and went haywire. He was to the point he could barely walk. Pain pills did not help at all. The neurologist put him on Lyrica, it gave him his life back. The 1st few weeks were pretty rough, he said he felt like he was stoned all the time, as his body adjusted that feeling went away. Saturday he was working in the garden with me :D I hope you can find some relief, don't let them just shuffle you around.

Welcome Rob!

Nice to see you Andre' I was wondering if it was something I said.
You never say the wrong thing. Just got busy helping to establish a local forum and a Reoville outpost within.
And you drink Rooibos. I happened to have had a cup today.

Several times a week I drink African nectar. It's one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants of any tea etc. I can see the flush it does if I don't drink it for a while.
If you can get your hands on our Honeybush tea - that is even more awesome.

Good to see you around again. I see you've been busy being a Reoevangelist.

Earth for now.
Hey there Fine citizens of REOville!

Hope everyone has a fantastic day.
I will be lurking in the shadows for a while, things are busy around my parts and time is at a premium so something has to be put by the wayside. I will begin work once again on the restoration of my 1981 Goldwing, my warm weather project that will be a few years to completion; with everything else time to stalk the website will be minimal. These REOs are making my life so much better that I am once again looking for things to do rather than sitting around being fat and lazy.

I thank each and everyone here for steering me to a device that finally broke a 30+ year habit. Without these devices I am certain that I would still be sitting watching TV, going out to light up a stinky and not planning for tomorrow. You folks are the best!

See ya when I have some down time and until next time...smile damnit you have all been a huge help. I steer everyone I talk with to reosmods.com and here the best place to find help and put down roots.
