Evening, Reoville!

Karen just called. After being up all night, then 14 hours of flights, she landed safely in Bellingham and hooked up with Wayne and Lisa. She's a tad tired but hopes to be able to post an update or two tomorrow.

Oh, she discovered the mystery missing key in her purse while unpacking in the hotel :)

Thanks for the update Dennis! I felt for her when she couldn't find her key. I know how that feels when you want everything to be as it should. Try like hell not to go there in my life but it's only been the past few years that I've become much more laid back. I still remember though so I was feeling her angst.

I'm so exhausted. Haven't gotten good sleep in days due to this infection. Don't want to eat so been forcing myself to. Bread and beer tonight :) At least I won't starve to death. Got a burnt wick in my Reo with my favorite juice and don't have the energy to change it. It's only cotton, it ain't that hard :) Ok, going to go change it. Just had to give myself a public pep talk :)

Ok, status update.... Changed the wick, cleaned up the outside with an alcohol wipe, filled her up and even put in the o-ring that came with the RM2. Whew. The o-ring still doesn't let me get the hole on the atty pointing straight up when I vape so I guess I'll have to find a thicker one.

At least the wick is new and my vape is good! :)

Good evening everyone :)

Ya...up past my bedtime again, but its been a long day and just got home a little bit ago. We took Karen back to the hotel about 7pm so she could rest. She did a lot...and I mean a lot of traveling today. But she's here safe and sound. After we checked her into her hotel, we took her to our favorite burger joint in Ferndale, then out for a drive around Birch Bay and Semiahmoo so we could check out the beach and listen to the water for a bit. Found some awesome rocks. Hopefully she is sleeping soundly right now.

Here is a picture of her and I at the beach in Birch Bay. It was cloudy today...but the sky is crystal clear now and will stay that way over the next few days. Did you know she has the most amazing brown eyes I've ever seen. Kind of a rare color around here.

Thank you for sharing Fleet  I think for many of us, we've done everything but ECT. i've never even considered it, nor was it ever mentioned. But having been down that road myself, I definitely support it if it brings you relief. and I definitely agree with the dart board analogy...you couldn't be more right.

Hi Brett! Safe travels!

I am thrilled to be here in Bellingham! Seeing Lisa and Wayne coming down the sidewalk at the airport was so worth the trip.
There was a feeling of instantaneous warmth and love.
Glad they were both ready for a huge hug!
We had a wonderful meal and first evening.
The beach was fun. Already have some memories wrapped up in the form of sea glass and rocks! We might just have to see how many pounds can fit in a ptiority box,
Looking forward to my days here with my bestest friends!

I wake to good news of the safe arrive and big bear hugs of Wayne, Lisa and Karen. A trip more epic than the Odyssey. THank you for the pic as proof that it did indeed actually happen. I look forward to hearing more of your adventure. No road work here today unless my wheels arrive which is very doubtful. I'll do more excercises instead.

Scott, I hope that tooth pain is gone or is at least tolerable.

Fleet if you've got an extra Reo bottle you can try to use the Oring in that to line up the air hole. Thats the one I use in my Reo. It takes a fair amount of torque to position mine as the Oring is fairly thick but no leaks. I mount the bottom of my RM2 and they don't get removed for months. I just remove the top caps to build coils. My Reos don't get a thorough cleaning very often. Get some sleep Fleet. :)

Big bear hugs going out to all the Reonauts.

Good morning! Yes, I do have some extras. I was going to go through my vape junk pile and I figured something would have an o-ring that fit. I bought extra bottles and if those will do the trick you just saved me a ton of time! Thank you!

Good morning to all in Reoville!!!

Hoping I'm on downside of the hill of recovery and get to feel better today. At least have more energy than I've had.... Same for Scott and his tooth. And that Loren gets his gliders quickly. And Karen has a continued marvelous trip. Hell, all of you, have a great one!

edit: or Loren's wheels, I forgot which he was waiting for....

HI Fleet, yes I'm waiting on wheels. I tried to order baby moons for the front and chrome mags for the back but no luck there. :) I guess its hard to find them for 5 inch tires.

Brother took the Harley in for its 1000 mile oil change and check up. When the job was done they hand him a bill for $258.00. He says that first service was included in his purchase deal so they check and yes it was part of his deal. I might be out of touch but $258 seems way , way out of line. However I just bought underwear before my hospital visit and they were $14 a pair...lol. I thought they were 50-60% off but I didn't check at the register when they rang them up. I checked when I got back to my car. My hip hurt so much I didn't want to go back in and do battle so I just said the hell with it. I know pics or it didn't happen but I'll spare everyone those pics but I must say I feel like a million dollars knowing that I am wearing $14 underwear. I have arrived at the zenith of American excess knowing my purchase has helped the stock holders of Ralph Loren. Yeah no tighty whites for this guy. Just some crazy stripped boxers. I think I like them so much that I'll start learning how to wear my pants way down on my ayuss so I can show them off to everyone. I don't know if I'l need velcro to accomplish that or do I just try to walk with my legs splayed way out to the sides and rotate my hips so keep them up. I guess I will Google that to find the best way to keep them up.
