I just got up and am not with it. Got to get my son ready to go see his Dr. I am so not with it, coffee hasn't kicked in. It will though, just takes time

Good morning, everyone!
Just getting through my first cup of coffee. Woke up to a call from Karen this morning...her travel plans are all screwed up now. Her flight was cancelled due to a bird strike and is now heading down to SeaTac on a shuttle to catch a different flight. She's mad as hell...don't blame her. Just texted her some info and hoping that she gets it and can get everything else arranged smoothly. Will be standing by here all day to assist as needed.

Damn birds. Why should they be striking? Not enough pay? They don't get paid anyway! Now they're striking and messing up the travel plans of one of our own. Time to take matters into our own hands and *eat a chicken*. That goes for you Dennis as well. Have to do your part, you know?

I think Torey had insider information. She ate her chicken yesterday. She must have known what was going down.

Yep...looks like I'm eating chicken for dinner tonight. I just heard back from Karen and things may be okay....may have been able to get a non stop flight home, which would have her there much earlier than her previous plans. She's still on the shuttle and I'm guessing that she won't know for sure until she gets to SeaTac.

I wish we had time to slow down yesterday, Fleet. We were in the Birch Bay area and passed a street sign...Fleet Rd. Should have taken a picture of it.
