And then you have people like my MIL who was diagnosed decades ago with Fibromyalgia. She cut gluten out and the symptoms just disappeared. I think there may be a lot more to this than we realize.

Hi Val! :)

Hi back at ya Lisa! I loved your pics, but you forgot the most important one: Karen's ego backup

Well, I left the safety of my recliner and ventured to the yard to pull weeds from around my swing. Stupid little sapling. I had enough strength to pull it out of the ground but no................it broke off and sent me backwards. Landed pretty softly thank goodness. I don't think nothing is hurt and I should be able to get the grass stains out of my pajamas so all is good. Should choose common sense over my need to play superwoman. What makes this story funny is.........there was a shovel within 5 feet of me that would have come in handy.

Off to the shower now where surely I can't get into to much trouble. :D

Ya'll have a wonderful evening.

Hi Val! :)

That is fantastic. Maybe I should look into trying that. I bet it is hard to stay on that diet though. Thanks for giving me something to google tonight when I can't sleep. :)

For her it wasn't hard at all...suffer in pain or change your habit. For someone like me who doesn't suffer...it is hard.

I know a lot of people who are trying it for various reasons. I am allergic, so I don't eat it. I just eat a more healthy diet now is all. No crappy carbs from white bread, no fried foods trapping grease in the breading, and cider instead of beer. I learned to deal with it because I feel so much better without it. They make gluten free pasta, pizza, even buns for burgers now so it is even easier these days and I can eat the bad crap again if I get a craving

Nope...he's working. When did they order? Did they check their paypal accounts for shipping notices? His phone number is on the website ....click on Contact Us at the bottom of the front page.

Check spam folders for the emails...often time they get sent there.

Thanks RF. Both were ordered last week sometime and I had them check the SPAM folder and so on. I'll have them check their Paypal accounts and come on over here if there they still can't find anything. Ones a group gift for a 1 year smoke free anniversary and she is dying to get hers lol

Ya...last week is a bit long. I would strongly advise that they either call him to check on it or PM here on ECF. They will need to provide the email address, their names and mailing address and phone number. He's a really nice guy, so don't be afraid to call him. They can tell him I sent them. :D

Haha will do. The 1 year one is a little strange since she ordered it but I'm paying for it. We've done this in the past so I know it works so we shall see.

Hi Val! :)

Hi Val and Lisa. Interesting stuff, I've been aware of it for other reasons such as my suspected Asperger's (definitely high functioning and I've learned how to cope with many things so many people wouldn't see it in me. But many do once they know what to look for. Since it is a a spectrum you can be on the far end of it, yet still have it have a major negative impact on your life if you're not aware of why the world makes no sense when it's perfectly logical as to how it should work. Gluten free diets have been suggested in similar cases with some people reporting success.

Girlfriends and whatnot have to learn not to ask me if a dress makes them look fat..... As I've said before, I take things quite literally and well, if they didn't want to know, why would they ask? I've been compared to Mr. Spock more times than I can remember.....

Edit: and I've made a lot of women cry. I really didn't mean to.....

My MIL turned into a whole new person once the pain and depression went away....here she is a couple of years ago on her birthday. This gal was pain free and fearless! I can only hope I can be half the woman she is when I get to be her age.

You'd probably be considered very underweight.
