Hope all is well in Reoville. Been real busy lately not much time to hang out and chat.

I've got some things in the works. Might need to unload a couple woods to make it happen. But, it will be worth it! Looking forward to the new grands I see in my future.

Good morning, everyone!

I nearly didn't take that picture because I'm rather sensitive about my feet....particularly my toes (long story), but it was a big deal for my husband that I be the first to set foot on the floor of our new home. So I took the picture....you know, cuz "pics or it didn't happen." No worries, Torey...your toes will always be tops....no competition coming from me.

I was going to chat more last night, but seriously was nodding off in my chair so I went to bed early.

Purdy!! I had a Purple 2.1 for a short while before a girlfriend of mine begged me for it. Now she has it...and sports it everywhere!

Claudia and I were both a little resistant to the REO thing, until we found ourselves in the midst of a Saturday afternoon REO enabling frenzy a few weeks ago. It was lots of fun and there's been no looking back since. We are now part of the enabling crew!

Good morning REOvillians!

The trees are planted, the sprinklers work on both circuits and the controls are in the bedroom (DH is such a wuss, he said "No, I don't want it in the bedroom, they will have to drill a hole in the wall!" To which I replied, "The OLD one is already there? It's just a matter of hooking up the wires to the new one." It's been so long he forgot LOL), and the drains (all 7 of them) are draining. BUT there seems to be a big run on the sod, so we won't get that in until Sunday.

I was going to spatchcock a chicken then grill it outside under some bricks to celebrate the yard tonight, but I ended up putting the chicken in the freezer and will do a pork roast tonight instead. I am sure no one will mind, I do a great pork roast (or so I have been told). So next Thursday I will do the outdoor grilling in our newly refurbed yard if all goes as planned.

All this talk about toes! I need a pedicure so bad, they haven't looked this bad in a long time. I haven't been able to get them done since I reinjured my knee. Maybe I can get there later today? Hopefully she will be gentle since my little banged up toe seems to be permanently bruised under the nail where it hit the shopping cart.

I've never had a pedi....are they painful? (a little of the long story...) I have a deep ingrained fear of toe damage. Doesn't matter what kind, and as a result, almost no one...ever...touches...my....toes. Like, I'm seriously not okay with anyone touching my toes. I mean, what if they accidentally pop one off? No joke...that is really where my brain goes, even though I know it's not that easy. When I clip the corner of a coffee table with my toes I see stars and start to panic in a really unhealthy way. The fact that I wear sandals at all seems to be completely illogical, but then, I hate having my toes confined...don't like them getting hot either...what if they turn into sausages. Ugh! I got issues.

I do! Well, not all the time, but I got them, when I need them. My favorite foot gear are boots. When I worked in lumber yards, all I wore were heavy duty boots, some with steel toe. I can't tell you how many times I dropped lumber, plywood, posts, rolled vinyl flooring, windows and doors on my feet. I'd have crushed toes by now if I didn't wear protective shoes.

Hi right back attcha. I've been keeping up too but have been spending a lot of time listening to music lately. Nothing better when your soul needs some soothing than music. Adds even more comfort with a glass of wine.

Right now I am having a love affair with Van Morrison. I'll sure check out some of yours since I don't know who they are. I sure wish I knew how to play something. That would be the ultimate soul comfort. But ya gotta work with whatcha got. I just tippy toe on over to YouTube which has turned into my second best friend.

I'm suppose to be working but the bosses are out of town, so I am @ the office, having a drink & vaping my head off with my new REO. I should turn some music on, too.
