Good morning Reoville. I just got back from a walk. New crocs were very comfortable right from the get go. Nice 63 degrees. Watched the orange sun rise over the trees. A nice waning gibbous moon high in the sky. The early birds were out and singing along with a few early risers walking their canine friends.

USA 2, Ghana 1.... Good game although Ghana really controlled the game.

Life is good.

Having a vape and some ice water as I cool down.

All you Reonauts out there, have a great day.

Good morning, REOvil!
I was up really early with the canines and had to wrestle a possum by the waning gibbous moon. Darn dogs that won't come! Only one out of three would come to me. Didn't want to leave the other two alone with it long enough to grab the shotgun, so had to wrestle it over the fence with a mop.

I usually just grab the .22 to deal with possums. They're generally slow enough to walk up on and stick the barrel right on the back of their heads. Frank heads for the house when I get the guns out so I just have to restrain Earl to avoid any collateral damage.

Master of Bassets...and not much else.

My last dog was a Racoon killer she was good shed bring home 1-2 a week I wouldn't trust either of these 2 I have now to do that they just don't have the kill instinct as good as she did

You would probably like my SO's toy then, it's a 23 T Altered Roadster with a Mopar 440 bored 60 over.

Hope you get it squared away quickly and cheap too! Nothing like vehicle problems, they usually happen at the most inconvenient times and everything costs a fortune. Even with my back I still do as much work as I can. Had to replace my starter not too long ago. At least I got a Jeep with lots of clearance everywhere so I could get to it with putting it on ramps. Especially because I don't have any :)

When I was young I was poor, as most young adults are. Back then there were no computers in cars. I could rebuild carburetors, and replace just about any part. Replace points, set timing, do brake jobs whatever. Nowadays with cars so complicated and everything done by computer it's really hard to do your own repairs unless you have a really good shop and do cars for a hobby. Oh how I miss my '68 Camaro...

Edit: and .25 cents a gallon for gas :)

Wow I grew up at Lions too, in fact my uncle is the one who developed the formula for the asphalt and paved the track, he was also the starter on opening day. I was there opening and closing days.

Yes it was.

I grew up around drag racers at (RIP) Lions Drag Strip in Long Beach Ca.

They closed Irwindale quite a long time ago. :( OCIR as well. Those were some fun times though.
I used to go back in the day of "Big Daddy" Don Garlitz, Snake Prudholm, and Shirley Muldowney. Those were indeed the day! That's too bad it's shut down. and Orange County too[emoji22]
