I believe it! Haven't been sleeping well with all the worry for my family. Feels great to have caught up on a bit of sleep. Today is going to be all about relaxing too. About to go get Mom and Sis and we are going to have a beauty
shop, watching movies and snacking day. Wish we could have some MaMaw style cooking but will settle for fruit salad, roasted chicken and homegrown squash, bell peppers, onions and sliced tomatoes.
homegrown tomatoes....I wait all year for them. Got an extra special batch when I visited Dad on Friday, from the land I grew up on. There is something special in that East Texas sand that makes a great tomato. Ours are good here in the land of red dirt, but not as good as the ones from home.
Somebody mentioned Black Krim tomatoes not too long ago. Those are my Mom's absolute favorite and we have four plants with green tomatoes on them. Can't wait to try them! Watching 'em is like a pot of water that won't boil.
