Hope you had a good weekend Dennis.

T

Thanks, Mr. T.

i met my older daughter for brunch this morning. We sat outside on the patio of a fancy restaurant in the 100 degree heat. She brought her 3 mini poodles. i was hoping one would lift a leg to help cool me off, but alas...

Apparently, this restaurant is a popular Sunday brunch hangout for lots of folks with small dogs. I got more exercise this morning playing puppy referee than i have in the last year.

Good evening, Reoville!

Am I the only one left without a facebook account? :) Can't join the group :(

I have an extreme dislike for facebook given that they constantly change things and there are just too many ways they use you for advertising. I think when they started putting peoples picture up with a company they had liked and then targeted their friends with it, making it appear as if you were making a personal recommendation, was the last straw. What I don't understand is that a lot of celebrities didn't want that as they want to be paid for their endorsements so something was changed.

I just don't want to have to keep up with those shenanigans so I know how to protect myself. I actually had a company that I bought some expensive software from move all their support to Facebook. So in order to get support for a product I had paid for I had to agree to a third party's terms of service (Facebook in this case) and sign up with them thereby allowing them to sell me on the advertising networks. That's just wrong and I didn't do it but many companies are moving in that direction and now I don't have access to support for that software. Makes me mad.

For those of you keeping score at home: the missing piece(s) were- the water connection hoses for the faucets. I guess the fun continues into tomorrow ;)

Looking good, takes me back to my early days when I was a plumber. Oh I'm so glad I didn't keep that profession, though I can still do the work....

I can fumble my way through it. As long as I triple check my measurements. I was just glad I didn't f up the holes for the water lines. That held the greatest potential for tragedy ;)
