Well I've had my first reo, VV Grand, for a week now and I'm making myself stop using it. Until my ohm meter gets here Monday. I sat down last night to practice building coils and not one coil came out anywhere near where I was shooting for ohms wise, according to the ohm reader on my provari's at least. Every coil was below 1.0 ohms and I was shooting for 2.0. I thought using my provari's to check my ohms probably wasn't the best thing to be doing. Back to my eBaron's and 'Vari's till Monday. So bummed.

My guess is that a Provari is more than good enough to measure ohms in the 1 to 2 ohms range. One of those ohm meter's to build an atty on is definitely not a waste of money though, it's a great tool to have on hand.

Morning Reoville! Nearly my bedtime...

Nice thought, T, but another never grows in its place. They're a veritable metaphor for the hands, er, uh, hairs of time or something I guess. Its not like they really die. They've begun growing out of my ears and on my nose. What the hell's up with that?

I figure that each hair holds a memory. That's why I can't remember s$@t ;)

2Ω coil: easy peasy. 4 wraps of 32g kanthal around a 1/8" bit of silica.

This is 2 coils of 32g, hence the 1.00Ω reading.

Hope that helps.

Good morning, REOvil!

I have a list of 32 things to get done before Tuesday and all I want to do is stare at the mailbox. My mini is giving me my REO fix like a champ, but these darn cartos are crapola! Come on RM2!

Got our rooms booked yesterday. After booking the B&B I read a few reviews on a different website and discovered our room was going to be upstairs with a detached bathroom. Canceled it and found an excellent deal at an amazing hotel...built in 1911 (was a bank), complimentary limo service, down comforters, restaurant & room service, roof top terrace, and best of all the room is named the Autograph Grand room. Usually a $400 room, got it for $129!!! I'll be staying at the cheapest Motel 6 until Mom is released, but it will be well worth it to see her face when she sees the limo pick us up from the hospital and gets in the room.
Can't wait to roll up to the valet in my twenty year old Buick with missing hubcabs.

How about that!

I am celebrating my second vape-anniversary today. Look at all those analogs I would have smoked if not for vaping. Incredible and a bit embarrassing that something so toxic was a habit that I just ignored for so long. I know I'll never smoke again and that I'll always have a Reo within my reach. Thanks Rob for making vaping easy and satisfying.

In addition, today is my one year mark for no alcohol. I do miss that but with no self control once I start drinking it's best I shy away from it all together. Now if I could find something other than ice cream to eat after dinner, then I'd be on to something truly great.

Oh yeah, it's my gf's birthday today. Happy Birthday Marietta!

Yep, this is an important day for me. Thank you Reoville for being such a great bunch of people. I may not post a lot but it doesn't mean that I don't feel some sort of connection here in Reoville.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good afternoon, REOvil!

After my post about rapidly returning to REOvil after two weeks of being without a REO, Trunker sent me a very special old friend of mine. I am happily vaping my sweet little polished mini again. I almost cried when I saw it...it's exactly as I left it, it obviously didn't meet the grinder, the door magnet still falls out, the locking pin is still gone and most important- it was still wearing Karen's jacket.
:wub::vapor::wub::vapor::wub::vapor::wub::vapor::wub:

I went to the two new local vape shops to pick up an atty or carto for until Raynman's package is delivered on Saturday. The first shop didn't have anything that wasn't connected to a tank of some sort. The second shop was all about tanks too, but managed to come up with a cartomizer that is about a mile long. That store owner was interested in checking out my sweet REO baby, and we chatted for a bit about atomizers and cartomizers. I think any vape shop should at least have a few basic atties and cartos, and know what ECF is.

Jen...You're way too cute! So glad you're vaping again with an old friend. I would have hated if you left Reoville for good. :(

Yeah, 7 REOs should keep a person going pretty good. I'll be all set up again on Saturday. I was lucky enough to sell all my gear to a REOkin and it's all coming right back.

Good to see you too, Scott! I'm sure enjoying the pictures and videos of Arwin. Love her little house. I hope she is helping ease the loss of your best buddy.

Gotta run, a dog just barfed. :( The other girl had middle of the night trots. Praying it isn't the dog food. Where's Ed? I feed 4health...better check on recalls. Going to have to start cooking for them, this recall stuff is out of control.

No product recalls on your pet food sweetie. Here's the site. You may want to sign up for recalls. Never can be too careful where family is concerned. :)

They are in New Mexico now!!!

Just for those joining me in following my daughter & family on their drive to there new home city!

I wish they could have seen the different states in the daytime. Sucks when the kids travel better when asleep!

Krista has flown out to Las Vegas and we drove to California. Her husband has never ventured west of Indiana.

Nothing like driving and seeing the sun rise in Arizona! He will be shocked at the beauty!

I saw Satriani years ago but didn't know who he was at the time. He was mesmerizing though. Turns out he trained with Steve Vai at a young age. Huggs for my sweetie pie. Glad your gang is safe and sound!

Good morning, REOvil!
Mmmmm....good coffee, great vape and it's Friday! Great way to start the day.

Mom's surgery is scheduled for next Thursday and I'm trying to book us a room. We have to stay two nights before surgery because she has a consult on Tuesday, and then we want to stay close to the hospital the first night she is released. Found a cute bed and breakfast that I would really like to surprise her with for one of our nights. Do you guys think it should be the night before surgery, or the night after?

One vote for "the night before".

Thanks.
Not sure I bought the right guage but from what I have been able to determine the .5m wire is 26 guage?
9 wraps and checked on my MVP's ohm checker for final product.
It works well.

Good morning fellow REOnauts. Waking up to hot coffee and my REO RM2 set and ready is nice.
Hope your all having just as pleasant a Saturday morning as I am.
