I read that and it must have made me want it too. Just got finished eating BBQ myself. YUM. Probably would not work if someone suggests "snails".

Yup and I followed thru as well, brisket, ribs and sausage :D

Oh and creamy corn, can't forget that...

What Escargot doesn't appeal to you? ;)

I sure hope you all had great barbeques! I'm bummed 'cause I was going to have one last night, too. But fired it up and my flames were low and blue...rats! Out of gas. Gotta go refill before the weekend. Good morning Reo friends! Done with the install of all those cabinets except for the outdoor kitchen. The stone masons haven't finished that area yet, so another week and have to go back. That's ok, 2 days of this was brutal, and I'm ready for a day in my air conditioned shop. Everyone, had a great day!

Good morning REOvillians!

SCOTT, funny thing that you just got new bedding. I just redid our bed also with 1500 cotton sheets, and a new comforter set with all the shams and decorative pillows. I didn't tell DH in case he wouldn't like it. I stalked him as he went into the bedroom and he did a double take, saying "What's this?!" He likes it though so he got lucky because tough cookies if he didn't. Glad to hear Arwin likes the new set up too. :)

I didn't see anything from Lisa, Karen or Kay? I hope you ladies are all doing well :toast:

JEN, I am so glad mom got fixed up. I just knew they would sort it out for you. Good thing too, that was a heart attack waiting to happen and now you won't have to worry. Did they fix the original problem also while she was there?

I have been walking so much better, and in much less pain, so I have been enjoying driving and going places so haven't been tied to the house so much. Freedom to roam is such a nice thing! The downside is I don't have as much time to spend with you all, so sorry if I am absent so much, but being able to live life is a wonderful thing.

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning, REOvil!

I'm happy to say we are back home. As ramshackle as it may be, there is no place like home. Didn't realize how much I do accomplish in a week, until I was gone for a week. It will take a month to get everything back in order.

Torey- I have red cypress vines now! What a beautiful plant! Can't wait to see them bloom. Still watching for the money plants and moonflowers to sprout.

Have a great day everyone! I'm doing a hit and run, have to attack the ever growing to do list. Mom is on semi-bed rest for 3 months and then gets to go back for attempt #2 on the aneurysm. Thanks for your ongoing support through this trying time.

I'm so happy to hear you are walking better and enjoying more freedom!

Above post explains the original problem has been put on hold. Yes, she was a step away from a major heart attack. They also said she had signs of a previous heart attack that she walked away from. You would understand more than I did...her heart did amazing things by re-routing the blood flow through other veins and arteries.
She has been complaining of neck and shoulder pain for a long time. Us women need to remember that we don't always present the same signs as men when we're having heart problems. I wish her family doctor would have listened to her more instead of telling her she was-
1. Dehydrated
2. Depressed and needs to see a shrink
3. Her rocks are loose and she needs to hang her head off of the bed.
4. All her symptoms are psychosomatic
