Darrel!! Did you find your misplaced REO yet? I sure hope so, but I didn't see you say so.
Karen - I hope you are enjoying the new bike. Last night I decided to just ride until my legs couldn't anymore, then had to sit on the stupid thing until my legs could hold me. Too much vodka apparently

I was very good at getting on the bike and riding. I found that I can't go very long at all on it right now. Maybe 5-7 minutes at a time. With having to work and not being able to have bad days from it I must really watch it. So, I try to ride a few times a day on my days off.
It is not something that I will just give up on doing. For a long time I have really wished I could go out and take walks. But that is just too much of a risk of falling on uneven sidewalk. And then the weather does not always allow it. So the bike is the perfect thing for me. I am committed to sticking with.
It might take me quite awhile to build up to at least 10 minutes a session. But I will get there!
I have you to thank for the idea of the recumbent bike. Never really knew I could get one for home! Thank you again!

I think I'm past my hissyfits now....tho for some reason i don't understand, i'm not very talkative lately....
thanks for all the PM's...they were read and appreciated....
still have a cast on my foot, but it's changed to a "soft' one...still using the walker most days... and still doing drugs ( maybe that's why i'm not so talkative)
I dislike very much not being Wonder Woman...

To the gimps of REOvil....just keep at it! Y'all are doing good. Wasn't that long ago that I started out with 5 minutes on the treadmill or just walking to the mailbox. Now I'm walking three miles a few times a week and thirty minute sessions on the treadmill when it's too hot outside. You can do it!
I've been following one of the little downtown cafe's on FB, and saw that they are opening a second store soon. Stopped in today to get a scone and a cup of coffee. The owner was there, and I just fell in love with her....tattoos, Betty Page bangs, friendly and outgoing. Next thing you know I was asking for a job. She said she would be calling me, definitely for the new store and maybe a little part time stuff before it opens. Super excited, feel like it is going to be a perfect fit.

Update on the dog Gatlin has named her Dora He loves Dora the Explorer
Cross your fingers for me and her that her owner doesn't come forward to collect her I have decided I want to keep her she is just so sweet smart and perfect I will have to turn her over to the pound for 72 hours to go through the system which really breaks my heart but its how it works here In the long run it will be for the best

But I might have to get in Dennis's case.....

oh...BTW... when I thought i didn't have a broken foot, I went to a puter store and got a all in1 with a keyboard and mouse. It even has a builtin webcam and Skype!

Hello everyone, here in Elmira, NY. Very pretty here and you sure can't beat the weather.
I hope so, Kay! The shop is really cute and she does a ton of cookies with only a few cupcakes and scones. I see plenty of room for cake! I think I'll make up a couple of goodies in the next few days and take her a platter to taste. Mom's birthday is next week so it is time to bake a cake anyway.
You're in Bighitter territory (binghampton) and not too far from me. THe weather has been fantastic and yes it is pretty in upstate NY. As far as the weather, visit us in February.
