Good morning all! :)

Paul, I think we might get some of that rain tomorrow and Saturday. Try to stay cool today.

Good morning, James. I sure hope that rain comes this far west. You guys get all the rain, it seems. We can only hope.

Good mornin' Reo wielders :)

Ready for the long weekend...

Oh, I forgot we had a long weekend, at least some do. I have to work Monday. Good morning, Mike, have a great day!

I'm having a blast! I'm not a shopper, never have been. I wear jeans and t-shirts, don't get my hair or nails done and am usually quite conservative with money. BUT....I hit a jackpot at the casino over the weekend and *I am shopping*! I stuck $40 in a dollar slot and that thing started hitting triple sevens right away, and then kept hitting! I cashed out with $604! (this is the meaning behind my username...I love me some pennyslots)

So far...one LP TRA Grand with a TRA circles door incoming...one BF non-afc Cyclone and possibly a second one this weekend...one Odin that I'll have to have modded...and a plumveil! And last but not least I'm taking the fam out for a nice seafood dinner. YUM!

Good morning, everyone! :)
I'm sorry for my absence....it's been a rough go round this house lately. Our impending move has been moved several times now and *currently* we are scheduled to move at the end of the month....the 27th. To say we are not happy about this is a colossal understatement. We are tired now and frustrated with the lack of planning and foresight by others, and the fact that no matter what, nothing we say or do is going to make it better. So we are stuck in this house for another month at least (most of it is already packed up). Our office is in complete disarray. Teagan starts school next Wednesday and it's going to cost us 120 miles per day to get her to and from school. Having prior building knowledge has been a huge help, but it has made this terribly frustrating because we can't control the chaos. 120 miles per day!!!! I still can't get over that. :grr: And as you can imagine, our angst has sure brought out some short tempers around here. We sent Teagan to her friends for a couple of days for some R&R.

On the bright side, we're close. And as angry as I am about the little things, I am really, really looking forward to finishing this and moving on with the next stage of our lives. We both now have our new desk chairs and that is a god send...it will make this next production cycle so much better. Wayne and I celebrated our 10th anniversary yesterday....by window shopping, pricing out railing for our porches and window coverings...some furniture too. (have you ever noticed going to a furniture store the quality of the pieces do not justify the price they are charging for them? Yes, I'm looking at you, Ashley! Shame on you!) We also met with the lender and our builder on site to go over our list of grievances. Tough day for the builder. We were so tired last night, we skipped our usual anniversary dinner out and had Chinese take out instead....then passed out in our living room watching Star Trek TNG. Better days are just over the horizon. I know. Just going to be a tough month as we tie things up here. (crap, I just realized I need to contact our landlord about an extension) *sigh*

Our cabinets and underlayment are in....doors and trim should be done today I think.

And my path to my new favorite spot is begging me to work on it....must....wait....a...little...longer.

I hope this finds you all well...
