Right now I'm in the chair donating 2 more pints of blood. My son is beside me giving his 2. Now that is a great mother/son outing. He'll do anything rather than paint. Bahahaha. [emoji193] This makes my 116 pint. Just think...116 people with a little bit of extra craziness, thanks to a silly "rat". [emoji193] Ya'll have a great afternoon.

Way to share the love :D

Good afternoon reoville. Hard hard day at work. At 10:30 this morning the soles of my shoes broke so I wound up walking around the kitchen almost bare door for 30minutes. During a rush I might add. While I waited for my brother to bring me some shows. I quickly discovered they weren't slip resistant so I slipped around for a while and almost busted my .... on several occasions. And on one of the occasions was in between the two sinks when I was running to quickly get a mop, and luckily as soon as my legs came out from under me adrenaline kicked in full force and my arms cupped and locked on the two sinks stopping my fall about a foot from the ground. Unfortunately that centered the full weight and impact directly on my shoulders. So all in all... A very long day. Now I'm home with my reo and an ice pack on my shoulders :D

Ouch! That sucks...I've done that. Better than a busted tail bone though....I've done that one too. Landed so hard I thought my tongue was going to pop. (yes, I know that didn't make any sense...only those who have hit the ground or rocks that hard would get that reference.) Compliments of a horse who was in dire need of some physical therapy. Hope you heal up fast. :)

Good evening, REOvil!

My trusty Grand took one too many hits to the concrete today. Top left corner and bottom right corner both took a pretty bad ding, right along the track/door. Trippy Tip popped off, but didn't break. I happily kept vaping until it was time for a battery change, and discovered the door is wedged in there tight. Can't get it to move at all. Any suggestions before it has to go to Maine?

Thanks again, Trunker and Smurf. Mini to the rescue once again!

Thanks Darrel, I appreciate the thoughts. I'll be at the courthouse tomorrow at 8am. Hopefully will be able to get an emergency hearing. I'll keep y'all posted. Thanks again....

Sorry to hear that. Wish I had some good advice for you but I don't. It seems to me that you'd need to get the door out to be able to straighten the tracks. Definitely sounds like a job for Rob. At least you have some backup and your story should make anyone think twice about selling Reos until they only have one left. Stuff happens and it's good to have a spare :)

Thanks, Fleet. I'm thinking it might take a trip to Rob, too.

Hope everything works out for you and your son. Hugs and good vibes sent your way.

Hope you bounce back quick. Kitchen falls are no joke! These are the best shoes I've found, well worth the money. Comfortable, slip proof, and last a long time.

Sorry to hear about the fall. Something happened like that to me in a kitchen. Although I was working up in the ceiling. We were putting in new make up air vents and hood as well as the exhaust fan. We had a lot of the duct work disconnected and it was raining outside so water was leaking into the area above the kitchen. We only had 2x8 boards to walk on above the kitchen and they were slippery. I was told to NEVER fall into a kitchen. Fryolators, knives, all kinds of things that could hurt you lurked below.

Well, I slipped walking on one of the 2x8 boards as they were wet and I went down. My adrenaline kicked in as well and as there were boards on both sides of my my elbows went out and I caught myself with my elbows resting on the 2x8s. I did go through the ceiling into the kitchen, but only the lower half of my body went through. Which is a great thing as I was over the knife station. I lifted myself up by my arms and elbows quicker than a cat. It was like I was in the circus I was so nimble and quick. Had I not put my arms out to the sides to catch myself between the walkways it would have been ugly indeed!

Kitchens are no place to fall, that's for sure. Glad you weren't seriously hurt. Glad I wasn't either :)

Hiya Jen. You will find it will likely slide better one way than the other. Then just force it. I've don't this many a time. I've had to file open the door slides several times with a fine triangle file to make it work right :). Good luck there.

I dinged it top and bottom, catty-cornered. Finally got a wrench out and wrapped a towel around it and gave the door a big shove from the squonk hole. It moved about a quarter of an inch and stopped. I don't have a triangle file.

Thanks, I was starting to think you didn't talk to me anymore. :)

Not at all. It's just so busy with Gatlin the new dog and a very jealous dog to deal with. I hope ya get it sorted out soon. My door slides are well filed on all sides now

Because the last several times I spoke to you, I didn't get a response ;)
And I am the overly sensitive poodle lady.

I'm just going to ship it to Maine tomorrow. My loaner Mini will keep me going until it gets back. Thanks for the offer.

Believe me it was not intended. If I didn't like you I'd be all too happy to say so  I've just been on overload lately.
