Hiya Torey. Yep little Dora got done. She hasn't had any pain meds since yesterday when she had it done she is a bit slower but amazingly good. I don't want to medicate as she seems fine and I'm afraid any meds she will over do it as she pushing it already with what she should be doing

Gosh, that's exactly how I was when I got fixed.

I'm good. Just had a hot fudge sunday from McDonald's but I forgot the nuts. Guess my ungrateful bird that detests me will get a treat.

Birds: don't trust them. A friend of mine had one that was rather large sized, can't remember the type. It was loose in his house one day and it sidled over to me on the couch. Very friendly. Then it started climbing up the middle of my back. How cute Then the damn thing bit me right in the middle of the back and I couldn't reach it as guys just don't have those arm sockets that girls do. That bird is lucky I didn't just slam my back into the couch and smoosh him

Fleet, this bird use to love me. He is a bare eyed cockatoo. He use to stay on my shoulder where ever I went. I sprayed him with water daily and he loved it. Then one day my husband says, "Bring him to the shower, he'll love it." Well evidently the bird didn't get the memo cause it freaked him out and he hasn't said a word to me since and won't even take food from me. Loves everyone else. That's ok. But a bird really knows how to hold a grudge. It's been probably 3 years. The bad part is they live like 60 years. That's a long time to hate someone.

Well, on a positive note, which I know has been lacking from me lately..... My first SL/LP was one of the ones that was built during the time when magnets were falling out of doors. I had mentioned it in a previous post and was extremely lucky because the magnet attached itself to the battery and I noticed it before it become lost.

Well, I decided to go ahead and glue it back in tonight. It's not often that we learn from other's mistakes but I paid attention to the stories of other people where they glued the magnet back in place only to find out the orientation was wrong. I followed the advice given of getting one of those little 5 packs of super glue since once you use them they dry up before you use them again, plus they have a very small tip. That way I didn't waste a whole thing of super glue, only one of the 5 little tubes.

I figured out the correct orientation, made sure the magnet didn't flip on me, apparently used just the right amount of super glue so there was no mess or excess overflow when seating the magnet (thereby gluing my finger to the door) and voila! Worked like a charm. My fears were getting the magnet in the wrong way, or using too much glue so that I glued the door shut. What a bummer that would have been The magnet did flip a time or two but I knew to look for that. Wish I didn't have the knowledge because of other folks problems but I paid attention when they posted and what they went through saved me a lot of trouble. It isn't often we learn from the mistakes of others. We may try.......

Now my Reo door is all set and good to go! It actually worked ok with just one magnet though I didn't want to take any chances so I wanted the other magnet in there as designed. Mission accomplished!

I hope mine never come out though...........I'm not real good with super glue or hot glue guns. Hot glue got under my fingernail one time and of course first thing I did was put it in my mouth. Ended up with 2 booboo's.

I tried emailing the site and PM'ed redeyedancer. It was at 9pm tonight and I was so busy today.
I was trying to order one in stock through PayPal hoping to get through before he switches.
I'm upset.
I haven't been able to think strait since I fell in love with that purple one... I got it bad!!

Hello HB (I'm lazy ) Welcome to reoville. I'm sure everything will sort itself out. What kind of problems were you having logging in? As far as I know you don't need to log into reosmods.com but I just put something in the cart to test it for you and it does ask you to log into paypal. If you're having problems from that point on it very well could be the switch he's making in which case you might have to wait until he sorts that out. If you PM'd Rob I'm sure he'll respond and let you know what to do.

If you can't order than no one else probably can either so don't worry, the purple should still be waiting. If not, he'll make you one! Take a deep breath, relax, and before you know it you'll be in Reo heaven!

I think you'll be quite happy with the Reo. I've tried all different types of VV/VW just plain batteries (ego), high end atty's on mech mods etc. Once I found my way to Reoville I knew I was home. And yes, there are a great bunch of people here. They'll help and they'll care. I know, trust me

Last time here, Kellogg kept on jumping on my keyboard wanting to grab my attention to go outside so I had to leave early. Sitting at a desk makes my bad back act up so I got my puter hooked up to my tv and sit on my sofa to do any surfing and such. Sometimes he lies on my mouse and I have a helluva time getting it back. Kellogg doesn't look too big but he must be pushing 60lbs now so nut easy keeping him from doing what he wants.

Hard hooking up with you guys here because of the time difference...seems like when I come around everybody is gone already. Eventually we'll get to see one another I guess.
