I always recall the haircuts my mother used to inflict on me, when i had enough to bother about.
Sitting still for 10 minutes was an enormous effort especially when someone has their chest in your face. If you fidget too much "...... it Trunker - i gapped it now", your hair got cut shorter and shorter.
Whenyou were released it was all over, you looked like a used toothbrush and were grateful.

I'm better now than I was an hour ago. He's at the hospital now and they're taking all kinds of tests. Looks like it was something else other than a stroke. So I will call back in about an hour to find out what the news is. He's all there, though...talking up a storm as he is wont to do. 
His nurse commented on his affinity for talking. I laughed....glad he's spreading the love.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Lisa but thankful it wasn't a stroke. I hope he gets well soon. There's nothing worse than worrying about a loved one.

Lisa, I hope what they find out is the best news it can be. Too much mint tea or something like that.
I'm busy watching the Redskins game and since RGIII is out of the picture they're not looking half bad (I don't care for him...) At least I was able to find a way to watch the game on the 'net as I don't have TV. Can be challenging at times. I'm not a big football fan but I do follow the Redskins. Probably just because I grew up in that area. Plus having a beer and some cashews is enjoyable all by itself
Hope the rest of you have a good afternoon, tomorrow starts a lot of paperwork type stuff for me so I'm going to be busy for a few days. Will find time to update my song lyrics though. Just waitin' for Lady Kay to identify it.

And Mike, i'm glad to see you're doing better.
Oh, by the way, i might have to have surgery on my right foot, I'm being sent to an orthopedic Dr. on Mon...oops, Tues..... It'll be great to stop using this stupid walker...I'm too young for such a contraption
