Good morning, REOvil!
I'm happy to say I think this last surgery was finally the one to get me back on my feet. Yesterday I walked 2 miles, mowed the grass, cleaned the house, baked a cake and bathed a dog with no pain and no pills! :D
About to go wake Sister up with her birthday cake and coffee-

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Good Morning Jen!

Dang, don't over do it! It is wonderful to hear you are feeling so very good!

It has been a long journey for you but with these results you can now move forward with your life.

I will be waiting and watching to see where life takes the new and improved YOU!

Good morning, everyone!
Just getting ready to hit the road...starting distribution today. We've had to push back our move in date to Oct 6. And to be honest, I'm not sure that's going to happen. We're waiting on a couple of items to be dealt with and will know in the next day or two if we're going to have to push moving back again. But the next date we'll be pushing back to will be the end of October. Not happy, not happy at all. But it is what it is, we'll suck it up. We don't have the time or the money to fire the builder, start over figuring out how to get the rest of the project done, or sue him for that matter. It's days like this I wish we had oodles of money stashed away (damn that smoking habit! :grr:) so we could level him with a threat we can actually follow through on. So one foot in front of the other until we get it done. I'll be glad when this is over.

On a side note, the owner of the dead corgi (Molly) came by yesterday to chat with us. After the criminal case is over, they're going to sue...and I threw my name in the hat to help in any way I can. Its amazing that this story has gone round the world and she's receiving tons of cards & gifts in the mail from people all over the world expressing their outrage and sympathy. Our neighbor who shot the dog is out on bail, and is being pretty quiet. Those of us on the hill are thinking about petitioning his landlord to make sure that he is moved out of our area. We don't want him or his belongings in our neighborhood regardless of whether he is serving time or not.

Anyway...that's it for me....I got more stuff to gab on about...but I gotta hit the road. Hope you all have a great hump day! :D

Howdy Reo-fam! Drive by and a wave. I hope you guys are all as well as can be. Crazy life right now working 8 days a week until further notice.

Huge huggs for Karen and Jen, Lisa and all our gals. Backslaps for the guys.

Still vaping like a nut and passing on the good word to all who care. Life is great albeit a bit too busy right now. Miss you all!

Good evening, everyone! Just popping in on my way to bed. It's great to see you post, even if it's just a drive by, Ed!

Hey Laurin, one of my photo buddies passed this along to me.....if you (or anyone, really as I'm sure this won't only be about professional photographers) feel so compelled, I'd take advantage to make use of the public comment period. Say What? U.S. Government Wants to Charge You $1,500 for Photographing in Wilderness Areas | Shutterbug Seems insane to me.

They ran a cath into my dad's heart tonight and found blockage. I'm not certain when, but there is a consultation with a heart surgeon either tonight or tomorrow morning (betting on the morning). But he's happy and healthy at the moment..for the most part.

Got another long day of driving tomorrow....So I'll leave you with another few photos of progress.

My spot on the porch.

And we have light!!! And an impromptu meeting of the minds in the kitchen. That's my father in law on the right. Teagan is in the red shirt.

Wondering if the fridge is big enough.

Playing with the lights. (on a side note, tonight I flipped every light switch several times...flushed every toilet, ran every faucet and played with all the appliances. Then after ALL THAT WORK, went and sat in MY SPOT on the porch.

Sleep well, my friends. I'm going to catch as many z's as i can before I gotta get up and start again. Hopefully I'll get to talk to a doctor in the morning. :)

Good morning, Reo friends! With all the rain we had my grass took off like mad and had to get out yesterday and start trying to get through it, some of it a foot tall. I'm going to try to do some more this evening after work before we get more rain. Hope you all have a great day!

Lisa-your house is looking great!
Scott-glad you're getting another Reo. The painting didn't quite work out for you?
Darrel-I hope things work out alright for Dora. Sorry to hear about her injury.

Good morning all!

Rainy and dreary in my part of the South, good day to be home snuggling down in bed with Mr. Spooky and the dogs. But I'm not. Sigh. Fortunately to have a good job so no complaints.

How soon is too soon for REO #2? I've been in touch with Rob so I guess the question is a moot one.
