First, a special thanks to Gil and Karen for spectacular pictures on the 2014 Unofficial Equipment of the Year Poll. Gawd, those are beautiful !

Second, transition from my $240/ month TWC service went a lot easier than I expected. Checked the Order, somehow the AT&T Internet Service was not added to the Order. But by then TWC was "We're So Sorry..." and I kept Road Runner fro $35 a month. Direct, with free equipment and instillation, worked out better than I expected. Got the new oval dish, with a signal that bounces from 99 to 100%, 1 Genie and 2 Minis. Looked good on my 55" HDTV even as the rain passed over this evening. For $67 +taxes for 1st year (I'm sure it will go up second year). Still, no interruption in services for half the price.

Awaiting "Anna" which may become a cat 1 hurricane soon. Wanted to go shopping but decided nut to because people like to hoard during times like this .

For the guys who are nut fashionistas, found a deal on "BDU Shorts" w/ blems. Gonna use around the house or for quick runs to the grocery store. The "blems" mostly are unnoticeable and quality seems fine. One pair $12, 2 pair $11, 3 pair $10 ea..........I ordered 2 and totaled at $18.70 w/ free ship. Guess I got lucky . Thanks Paul, hoping that they get rid of that Ebola bug before it starts spreading near where you at too. I think facing a hurricane would be much better . BTW, those shorts have a "make offer" tab, but YMMV. Living here, I'd suspect Botach may already be losing $$ on the shipping so guys across the pond may have better luck.
