I feel your pain. The price of gas there is ridiculous along with high taxes..etc.. I blame it on the Board of Equalization

it's been pouring rain here. i had forgotten what it looks, sounds and smells like. i just got back from the grocery store and there was a little group of ducks in the parking lot looking kinda dazed walking from puddle to puddle: "quack, gramps, what is this stuff?"

Nice peaceful night in with HRH as it happens! Kids are not stupid and they know where i live - they avoid me like baths.

I live too far up in the boonies. Never had a trick-or-treater in 14 years.
Im baffled. The past 4 years we went out and bout candy and got no one. This year we where like screw it why wast the cash and all sorts of kids came to the door.
We had rain, sleet, snow and howling winds tonight for trick or treat. Did that stop these Hoosier kids? Heck no. Crazy kids.
They couldn't feel their hands, feet or faces. Nothing would have scared these kids lol!

No tricksters have come to my door since I've lived here... none the years I lived in a big ranch house before it, or the condo before that. So none for well over 12 years. I don't even remember very many of them here the 10 plus years before that when I was still married in a different new house, also in a good and very safe neighborhood. So I guess trick or treat is not very popular here where the weather has nothing to do with it at all (it's going on 9PM here, it's 75 degrees with clear skies and no wind).
AAA had the average price of regular gas in Honolulu @ $3.90/gal. On the bright side, we don't drive outta state and its over $4/gal on the outer islands
