Good morning, Reoville! I'm leaving early this morning to go vote, then off to an install all day. We're supposed to get some good rain tomorrow, so I hope we can get everything done today. I hope you all have a really great day! Go vote!
what is the vote for? i though obama had a year or two to run?
we have to vote by law here. until i started vaping i was either a no-show and get fined, or just number the candidates from 1 to 7 etc in order they appear, but as a vaper i take it seriously
Every two years here, we have senatorial and congressional races, as well as a multitude of state measures, judges, etc. The presidential election comes every 4 years. We are not compelled to vote here. It's a right and a privilege, but not a law forcing us to vote.

In the USA we don't vote for the best man/woman. We vote for the person we think will screw us over the least. The very few that are worth voting for will be just like the rest in no time.

Of course I love the old classic commercials. Remember the old woman that said, "Where's the beef?". I loved that one. I voted the first day early voting started and I have done my part. They told us next year we would be required to show an ID. Some people are having a hissy fit over that one and I just don't get it. What is the big deal? Just my 3¢ (inflation)

In more important news, I dropped one of my Grands. It's fine, but the drip tip broke in two. Now I have two Grands and only one drip tip. 600 miles and a day from home where I have at least six just laying around....

It really is. I believe that all National level politicians have promised so much stuff to so many people to be at that level that it just isn't possible to deliver on it all. None of them are truly trustworthy, imo.

As far back as I can remember after becoming somewhat sober to actually vote we always had to show an ID. Without a picture ID it seems that a lot of fraud would be a result. Well, ain't the first time and surely nut the last.

My record is pretty bad in voting for someone who actually won the election, just one office (local/state/congressional) in the last 22 years. I've actually won money in Vegas at a better ratio. Is it possible for me to be so outta whack from the rest of my community? Very frustrating but I will nut give up!!!
2016 is the next presidential election which will be another "show" again where the best man will come in last. Kennedy was the last President who tried to really help the country and the people and look what it got him. It's been all downhill from there so I guess it's pretty hard to stop. I really feel sorry for all the young people who will be following us in the future
.At least oil prices are falling so hopefully the Saudis will have less money to equip terrorists groups with weapons and munitions. This world might actually be a pretty good place to live if no one spent money on making war anymore.
