Another couple of weeks of shots and lollypops, then some REAL rehab and I should be all better
I've always found that tequila shots did wonders for my rehab....
or at least made me believe they did
Master of Bassets...and not much else.
Good morning, Reoville and a happy Saturday! Getting my Reos ready to travel. Heading off to Houston this morning for vape Summit. Anyone else going? I'm going to meet up with some other ECF folks and another Reonaut. It promises to be a great time!
i know you're very excited and so glad that you're now able to go! You enjoy every minute of it! It's awesome to be with other Reonauts!
This one will be the second Reonaut I've met. The first being Mike (Uno Mas) in San Antonio, and now Travis (ReigntheGamer) today. Really looking forward to it. Those things sure are fun. But since they don't sell Reos there, I will just be looking at all the fancy goodies.

This might be a long post but I'm so excited to tell everyone and all the folks I know are still sleeping so I'm going to bombard you....cuz you can't hang up on me or leave the room
Last night was the first night since last July that I slept all the way thru and didn't wake up many times cuz of the pain. And I got out of the bed like a youngster. And I have sat down and stood up like a normal human being so far.
....I can move just about like these two smilies!
And absolutely no pain anywhere.I could ride that stallion full gallop this morning! ( sure hope this lasts.)
The best part is knowing that I finally found a Dr. that knows what hes' doing and diagnosed me correctly! ( I've been swinging my arms and getting up n down from the chair as I'm typing...just cuz I CAN!)

m so glad that I'm part bulldog and kept going back to my primary physician for yet another appt. with another specialist.
He diagnosed that the heavy box I dropped on my foot last July damaged some nerves on the top of my right foot ( and lifting and putting down so many heavy boxes during my move didn't help any), so I figured that all the heavy lifting at my age pulled my hamstrings and biceps. Today, the only thing that hurts is my right bicep, just a tad, tho, when I raise it over my head...but at least I can get it up that far!
In a little while I'm going for a WALK!!!! And swinging my arms as I go!
P.S. I had no idea that a nerve shot in my foot would reach all the way thru my entire body! No wonder all the physical therapy wasn't doing a lick of good!
I am woman...hear me roar!

Glad to see things ate looking up for you. Being in consent pain sucks. I have a bad disk in my back and when it goes out it hurts to breathe. Would never wish that much pain on anyone.

This is what I did today....
cleaned both bathrooms, the kitchen, changed the sheets, made a batch of chocolate chip cookies, took a walk, then one of my Grand D's called me up to come over with two of her friends a little later, she's been wanting them to meet me for awhile...
We ordered pizza delivered and played euchre till just a while ago, about five hours worth, while occasionally dancing around to some good tunes on the classic rock channel. They just left a bit ago. And I'm still going! I might have accomplished all these things in about a week or so before..
That cortizone shot was like a miracle! I haven't expended this much energy and movement in about four months! MY GD was amazed at the change in me since I saw her last about a month ago.
