How many springs and positive contacts are folks stocking?
I have 5 grands, one is in use daily, I use one for a few months then rotate to another.
Hope to keep them going for 20 years.
I have 15 springs and 15 positive contacts on hand (along with spare screws etc.)
So far in 5 years I have never had to replace a positive contact and never dropped a spring.
    I think I am set ??

You have more then I.. yup totally set. Figure swapping out contacts every few years. Springs would be a rarity if ever to change but good to have a few just encase.

Still love looking at Hands' work. This is a magnificent piece.

I like to think that Rob is chilling, whistling a happy tune while building guitars and feeding porcupines.

How's the SA board doing, Rob?

@Papa_Lazarou I sure hope Rob is with his Porcupines playing his guitar! :)

The SA board is doing well thanks... we just had out 5th VapeCon last week and I'm still recovering! :)

I'm off to the Arctic Circle in 2 weeks time... not Canada unfortunately... Iceland and Norway! Time to walk on a Glacier! Bucket List stuff!

Well, my "last one this time, really" showed up.
It's so cute! Sadly, the batteries for it aren't here yet - but may be here later today.
    Thought I had a couple, but they're dead-dead...charger won't charge 'em!
And my original Grand is almost old enough to babysit his new baby sister.

Ok, I received my P67 and it is GREAT! BUT, as I was messing with it and just plain checking things out the darn fire button just popped off with the spring??? Now what to do? I tried putting it back and it just pops off again. Is there a place for a drop of glue or something? Any help would be appreciated. I tried emailing Eric but I bet he is preoccupied with everything going on so I thought to ask here.

It is kind of hard to do with the P67 but I just did it with my new one. Take a piece of dental floss or a piece of thread, and place it over the button stub thingy, then press the 2 pieces together. I ended up using a pair of pliers to squeeze them together. This is a old trick that Rob told me. :)

I wonder...is the channel the visible channel there or is there another channel around the inner ring...
perhaps the floss wedgie would be your cure.
or perhaps fiddling until you 'find the right spot' for it to hold.
Altho being brand new I would think Eric would replace it with another...
I am sorry your new gear has troubles :(

I literally just did mine a few days ago, but I popped the button off on purpose. I wanted to see where all the parts went, and how it was assembled. The spring in the button, was the only part that was different from a Grand's button. It is really very easy to do the floss thing, if the thread is small enough, you should be able to do it by hand. :|

Congrats on the 5th event. Good group of peeps on that board.

Best you get on that glacier walking while we still have some. It will certainly be a change from your home town.

We have our share up here, to be sure, but while it's not well publicised, North America has them all the way down to California and Mexico (tall mountains will do that for ya). They're all receding, however - apparently at an unprecedented rate...Western Canada glaciers retreating at an unprecedented pace because of climate change: experts

The visit to Alaska a couple of years ago showed the receding Glaciers... Never got close enough to a Glacier then... this time we have made sure we will get onto one for real! I'm also hoping to see the Northen Lights because each time we have been it has been overcast... my brother-in-law has moved to Chilliwack outside Vancouver so we may go visit sometime...

Ended up ordering another P67 (all white w/ a white grand door) the other day and some spare parts. Now I’ve got 2 Grands (although one seems to have gotten lost in the house) and 2 P67s. It’s hard not to go wild and order more, but I can only afford so much. lol. Maybe I’ll order some more spare parts on another paycheck. I’ve got plenty of Grand Parts, but only ordered one extra contact for the P67 and one repair kit for the p67. I sold most of my vape stuff that isn’t “high end” and may still sell the remainder (except one regulated and one pod for salt) in favor of my Reos. Super sad to see Reos going away.

We hiked to a glacier in Kananaskis while we were out there. Only time I've seen a glacier in person, very cool :)

    Nice!

Fun fact - our island is made of primarily sandstone, which is to say sand pushed into a mound and pressurised by a glacier... 3 km thick ice
