My Rose was on my sx mini until I got the 510 kit for my Gus Estia. The Estia benefits from the powerful mode as it likes some oomph to light up 3 coils.
The only place I know of that sells them . Eden Mods LTD - TanksThis is a great thread, lots of useful tips and tricks. I finally have my Tobeco v2 clone purring nicely. However, I pulled a bonehead move and dropped it on concrete -- it actually escaped any major damage, but the PMMA middle tank section cracked its threading beyond repair. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement? Fasttech doesn't carry one despite several users submitting requests for one, going back a month or two. The SS section is totally fine but I really like being able to see the juice level (and the sexy factor too).

None of mine whistle either , I've tried all kinds of builds in mine and no trouble with gurgling either , I also generally run mine at .7 ohms on my mechs and I don't find them easy to overpower , in fact the exact opposite . I have gone as low as .3 with 24ga Gplat and no burnt taste , might be the juice he's vaping .Interesting review. I've never had any of my Roses gurgle or whistle. In fact I think they are among the quietest attys I have. I also don't completely uncrew the chimney when I fill. I just put it upside down in the stand and unscrew the base. And the funnel stays where I had it so when I put the base back on, the JC is where I had it. At least he noticed it has much better flavor than the Kayfun.
This was the comment I left on Phil's review on his Youtube page:
Thank you for the review Phil. I'm surprised you didn't get to it any sooner though. A few quick points from a Rose fan based on my experience with the atty for a couple of months now: 1. The Rose is a very versatile atomizer; you can have a dual coil build and you should try it with a vertical coil build too. 2. IMO the regular Rose V.2 is better than the stumpy version when it comes to the heat issue since it has a longer DT and a longer top part. 3. The throat hit is a function of the height of the coil from the bottom of the build deck or the ceramic cup. Push your coil and wick down a tad bit (without touching the airflow tube of course) and you'll get a much smoother throat hit, and an even stronger flavor. 4.You are absolutely right the ceramic cup adds to the flavor simply by reducing the volume of the vaporization chamber hence further condensing the vapor. 5. Gurgling has to do with wicking; in specific with how much wick you have and the wick placement in the 4 slots. These slots have to be filled with cotton in order not to allow excess juice to seep inside the vaporization chamber. If it floods the chamber it will gurgle, and if the liquid level is higher than the airflow tube it will leak. That's why the third wicking method you used worked fine (alternatively you might want to try the second build and fold the excess cotton back in the same slot it came from and have the cotton flush with the chamber). Also if your wick is not thick enough to fill and make contact with the coil properly some of the liquid will not vaporize and it will gurgle and spit. I wouldn't use a 3 mm drill bit and would rather use a 2 mm and not exceed a 2.5 mm diameter for my coil with the rose. I found this gives me just the right amount of cotton for the 4 slots, but that's a personal preference
