Well I just ordered a Rose V2....super excited to receive it! I went through a hardcore dripping stage, but lately I have been using tanks again. My 2 favorite rta's right now are the Heron (and Spheroid) and the Prometey.......but the Rose just looks like it vapes so darn well, so I am psyched to try it!
I will be sure to report back when I get the atty and let you know how I'm coming along with it!

I dripped for most of my vaping life never having found a tank that met all of my requirements. The Rose gets 99% of the way there, my only desire not met is with the mouthpiece. A bit too thin. If it were capable of receiving a tip of choice it would be perfect.

The Rose is my work atty! The two things I like most about it: It hasn't ever leaked under widely varying temperatures and altitudes (though tomorrow I'll be taking it on its first plane ride, we'll see how it fares) and I love how you can take it apart and clean the coil any time you want. Tanks have always grossed me out that way, this one I can clean it up a couple times a day even if it's plumb full and spill nary a drop.

Yeah, I hear ya. Who knows, maybe it will become my "work" atty! I travel/fly a LOT for work (I am a field service engineer so I am constantly on the road), so it's good to know that it doesn't seem to be affected by pressure changes.....
It may seem weird, but I actually prefer dripping on the road as opposed to tanks. I bring my wickless drippers with me in my suitcase, and then throw fresh cotton in them when I get to my destination....seems to work very well for me! But if the Rose is not sensitive to pressure changes then I could see bringing it on the road with me.....we shall see...I am just excited to get it and start building on it!!
Hmm, don't know if the rose is sensitive to pressure changes or not, but since you can close the jc down if starting to gurgle, it can be adjusted to pressure changes easily. Vaped Rose over Snoqualmie Pass and back, never had any problems at all.
Rose is my work tank also, along with Russian. Aqua, and whatever setup I grab, but always at least one rose2 comes with. Just ordered The Erlkönigin, with the optional 9 ml SS tank, which is supposed to be the most pressure resistant rba out. Some pretty slick engineering design on the puppy.

Yup they both got me too. The Erlkönigin is a beaut, no regrets there. Been vaping strong for a bit. Just pulled the trigger on The Rose V2. Pricy she was, but there is just something about its design and look that I couldn't deny. Love me a good RTA.
I thought that the "Fluff-style" RBA's were the most impervious to pressure changes? I'm talking about the GP Heron, Spheroid and the Prometey.....It's cool that the Erlkonigin is too though!

So im pretty dead set on either Erlkonigin or Rose v2. How do the airflows compare to one another? Any huge differences in vape or is it mostly aesthetics and how they are set up? Thanks in advance!

Well, Erly hasn't showed up on me door step yet, still passing through Germany currently. I'd probably grab the Erlkonigin with the 9 ml tank. Rose2 only holds 3 mls. Both are unique and innovative and worthy of possessing.
Another fine tank system that's hard to beat is the Flash-e-Vapor V3. Have the V2, which I just rebuilt with a 0.42 build, and is vaping quite phenomenal. Thinking of getting the V3 base to upgrade a clone I have.
The Erli can be had in the states now, but the accessories aren't available yet. I ordered the 23 mm ss tank, ss crown drip tip, and crwon drip tip adaptor, just had to have the SS tank and the 9 ml capacity

Rose has a 3.7 capacity, which is a lot closer to 4 than 3. If you're still top filling that's probably why you're only getting 3.
If you're thinking about getting the FeV3, do it. Smoothest draw on any atty I own. Amazing flavor. Easy to build.. like a dripper with feeder wicks (which you can ignore after cutting the first time). Pretty good amount of airflow. Plus, if it's a thing for you, you can have a 10 feet tall atty which will hold 25ml of juice.. or something like that,

Recoiled my Rose to 1.0 ohms using a 3/32" drill bit (2.4mm) and 28 gauge wire, cellucotton wick. The rayon wick can be packed tight since it doesn't expand like cotton. No fear of choking the coil with rayon.
I placed the coil into the ceramic cup and hold the coil in place with my finger:
Trim the leads to 4mm.
Split the wick ends and feed the rayon through the slots.
Cut the wick flush with the threads. Prime the wick and tuck it neatly into the the slots like so:
Finally I screwed the Rose onto a Hana clone and vaped from 10 to 20 watts with no dry hits. Settled on 15.7 watts as my sweet spot for vapor and taste.

This Rose v2 has just been a wonderful performer and a great flavor transmitter.
Oh snap. Rose V2 in the house. First build is awesome, better than my first 3 with my Erlkonigin. Microcoil was a bit finicky to install but she's wicking and vaping a dream right now. This is definitely one of the best RTA I've tried.
The rose will spoil one with it's total build package. Do like the Erli though, but prefer the Rose2's mounting system, much better, never a concern about getting a good coil lead trap on the wire Both are precise and meticulous built tank systems. Yeah in the top Gun Category for sure.

I had more issues wicking the Erli properly and getting it to perform. The rose is a fun build and is working very impressively. I think the thing I learned about installing the coil is to make sure the grub screws and coil are secure before removing the drill bit (or whatever is used to align the coil with the gap) because if the coil pulls back through the holes it's difficult to get the leads (cut by this time) back through. Also the first time I tried to install the coil, I cut the leads a bit too short. Other that's that I'm quite impressed by the rose v2. I'm getting a wonderful quality of vapor.
