I don't get all that exited with vape mail any more, not the way I use to anyway but one of my Rose clones will arrive today and I can't wait.
It's the one from E-Clouds, the other ones have been shipped from FT but still not showing as excepted as yet. (I got a couple for a buddy)

Well.....Rose up and running.... after a little bath, pretty easy set up.
It certainly works well.....better than.... not sure yet. Still taste some "factory"

Did you use the ceramic cups? How did yours fit? I haven't gotten back to mine yet. Got my new Lemo and Taifun GT built instead. Maybe get my Rose done this weekend.

I used the ceramic, fit just fine but I'm sure it would be even easier to build if left out.

Hi fellow rose users. I got brave and wanted to try a dual coil configuration with the ceramic cup. After much trial I finally got the coils right into the ceramic. I did a test fire and they were working perfectly. I went to tweak the coils just a bit before I Wicked them and I shorted one out. After all that work I gave up for today on the dual coil but not forever. I'm going to give it another try later on when I get the time to play with it. I saw on the rose site that dual coil is possible. Has any of you all ran a dual coil yet? I think I've finally got the single build down pat and I'm very happy with the results! I've learned how absolutely crutial it is to get the wicking right. If the wicking not right the juice flow adjuster isn't going to work properly and the amount of vapor also suffers. I'm now using all organic cotton to wick with , the angel hair kind and it's been working fabulous! Any tips on a dual coil build for the rose would be appreciated.

My plan today, if I can get myself going is to rebuild mine today using 2.5 mm silica. I used 3 mm silica on the first build and saw that it was a little too tight in the wick slots.
I could have simply snipped a couple of strands off each end but didn't. It really still works good but I feel it can be improved by using a smaller diameter wick.
Micro's and cotton? I use plenty of that too but only in drippers or tanks that think they are drippers.(Actually rayon)

I "dry burn" my silica wicks (used to torch the whole wick first) to get whatever off. I get upwards of 2 months or more before rebuilding with silica.
My reasoning for not using cotton (or rayon) is that I have so many devices that sometimes they sit for a while before I pick them up again.
I'm kind of a flavor junkie so either I like what silica tastes like or it loses it's initial taste. Cola in a can or bottle?, when can you taste the bottle?

Of coarse I have to dry burn them periodically though.

I've finished rebuilding with 2.5 mm silica, now to test some more.
I only taste the can.

I'm wicking with organic cotton, the angel hair kind and it's fantastic with the Rose . I tried other media like regular cotton and silica and the taste seems a lot better. I'm getting a much more intense flavor. I'm using a micro coil at 1.0 build. Seems like the rose is breaking in nicely. I'll be trying the dual coil build in her next.

There wasn't an extra? Mine was torn there when it got here but there was an extra.
There was an extra one.
I have three more clones from FT in transit. I figure I''ll need a few more of these o-rings but a few sometimes costs more than the 100 does. I've been known to ship o-rings to various ECF members also.

I would be willing to buy a load from you. You're right about buying just a few and that one will get the most wear and tear. I did lube it with juice before I filled it.

I've been using the brushed version of the clone that FT sells, I've used the authentic - there really is no difference in build/vape quality;

Just like the authentic version, best vape ever.
