I've been using the brushed version of the clone that FT sells, I've used the authentic - there really is no difference in build/vape quality;

Just like the authentic version, best vape ever.

I see a need to ID your clone a bit more, it is the brushed version of the polished one that FT sells...........correct?

Yep, certainly in the same packaging as the polished - compared it to an original in a friend's store on Thursday.

One of the guys working there had just spent a considerable sum on an original, when I showed him the clone he actually went quiet - it's that good of a clone and I think I upset him.

Didn't realize B o n g o was a bad word, the filter blanked the word m o r on earlier on - are we all not adults here?

I'm liking mine pretty well, just not ready to fully comment yet.
I did have to do a little work on the groove for the o-ring( i deepen it a bit ) on the mouthpiece because it was so hard to turn I thought I might have to get the pliers after it...LOL
It's fine now.
A good quality clone I must say.... and cheap in price.

Didn't"t have to do anything to the liquid control or the AFC - the AFC is actually a lot better on my clone than on the two originals that I've used.
I think that they"re being made in the same factory but they're being sent out to different companies to distribute - there are various finishes and flavors of o ring - but all coming in the same box. I obviously got lucky with the branding and rings, I believe mine came from a company called "Easter'.

Next time I have the base apart I will do something about the fitment of the AC ring.

I lubed both the o ring under the afc ring and the one for the flow control. That helped a lot.

Hmm, maybe slightly deepening that groove for the flow control one is a good idea, but I assume it should be done on a lathe for best results?

I took the ac ring's of all me rba's. Usually go 0.4 or lower, so they were no longer needed.

Hey ladies and gents.Been looking for an upgrade from My Kayfun and Russians. Been torn between the Rose V2 clone and the GP Heron clone. Not looking to cloud chase just looking for a warm, full flavor vape tank I can use on my DNA 30 daily. I was on Fasttech and saw 6they have 2 versions. One brushed (A) and one polished (B), the polished comes with base however there is a long wait for that one. Is there any real difference between Version A and B??

Yep, I got my clone in over the weekend. Freaking astounding quality. Every single part is literally dead on. The only difference is that the machine finish is a little bit lighter, so it's got more of a shine. Even the box it came in was spot on identical. $40 on eBay, got here in 2 days. Tough to beat. I'm pretty happy right now.

BTW Dice, I gave Ramie another try last.. thursday? In my Flash E v3. Surprisingly, it's actually a bit cooler of a vape. The wick did take about half a day to break in before the grass taste disappeared (even after uber cleaning), but once that went away, flavor was spot on. Not Rayon good, but better than cotton balls. The thing I'm most happy about with the Ramie is that even after 4 days of heavy use with Mother's Milk (which usually gunks contact coils up fairly quick), my coil still looks clean as a whistle.

I think from now on I'm gonna do all my tanks with Ramie. I'll still use Rayon for drippers as I prefer the flavor and it's easier to get situated in the wells properly, but I'm glad I've found a use for Ramie again. Dryburning coils on tanks every 4 days was getting old. I'm betting Ramie will last 3 weeks at least. Cheers for that.

I have the FT Heron and, it's flippin' awesome, everyone should have on IMO! beats out the kayfun, taifun, fogger etc. but, this is just one mans opinion I also have a rose clone, not the FT version but the one from Focal. the Pallas version if you can afford both get both! but if you only get one and it wa up to me i'd get the Heron... easy to coil and wick. awesome flavor and vapor production! oh, and sooo easy to check your juice level and refill... love the crap out of mine

with clones, one is always at the luck of the qc gods. Just make sure to get the one that comes with the stand and all the tools. The total rba package is one of the things the makes the Rose2 such a sweet girl.

Though if one wants a truly phenomenal innovative multi coiled tanked rba system, the Gus Estia 510 is the Reigning Champ, with no real challengers on the radar, though, must say, the Big D. does give a good showing. And if allowed to compete the 30mm Big Buddha is a serious heavy weight contender, but little brother Pontus is a joke. Well special gifted or vape challenged. mustn't upset the poor child. Poor girl thinks she's in the rotation line, and not the parts bin line. .
