So..I tried KGD a couple times with the same results. This coil gets hot too fast for the cotton to keep up with wicking is what I am figuring. Harsh, almost dry hits..this is on my sx mini.
Went back to rayon and all is well again in the Rose Garden.

The smallest box is 500 feet, but you'll have enough for at least a decade

The debate rages on over in the Rayon thread, but overall many people prefer it. There are some attomizers that I think work better with KGD/Japanese cotton, but overall Rayon is one of the best.

I use the rayon when quick wicking is needed, and in my magma. For the small rda's I use on mods like Reos, I use the cotton. I still prefer cotton, but the rayon just works best in some RTA's. The cotton tends to get too thick as it soaks up juice and stifles the wick as well. It's a matter of having the correct amount also.
Proper wicking is really important for each coil's performance.

Gotta watch out for counterfeits in every aspect of the vape lifestyle. Batteries, mods, attys, cotton/rayon....it's a mad mad world out there

Well, not fake Rayon, but ordering Rayon and cotton showing up...read multiple accounts of this happening in Amazon reviews, that's why I got friendly with Sally

Ok, I was curious and calculated the cost of rayon.

$11.49 ÷ 500 ft = $0.023/foot 2 cents per foot doesn't leave much profit for counterfeitors over real rayon.

LOL it's not counterfeit. There is another product similar, but not 100% rayon.
