I am seriously considering trying the Ubertoot, and the Aqua V. 2

I love the Aqua v2 :)

I have a clone Ubertoot. So far I think its a lot of hype. I dual coiled it yesterday and so far, I like it better. But, not better than the Aqua.

Those are both excellent choices IMO. I'm with Roxy on the Rose and Aqua2 being tops for flavor. The Rose2 was my first "high end" atty and I should have stopped there because I've yet to find a better atty for flavor and ease of use. I ended up with four Roses, three original and one clone.

I already have three Roses (clones) and seriously considering getting a fourth. But I thought I'd give the Aqua v2 a try first.

Check out the Aqua2 thread where there's a lot of discussion about the best one to get. FT offers several versions, but the best was the "OTM" version which was allegedly made by the same factory that produced the original.

Footoon got a cease and desist so you can't buy it anymore :( The Tobeco one is nice though.

I tried the Rose on the weekend without the ceramic cup and found the flavor to be missing, It could just be me but when I put it back in the flavor came back considerably.

Also trying to clean up up the two cups I have to get old juice residue out of them I managed to snap off one of the small uprights on each cup. The first one was from twisted up piece of paper towel put in the cup and turned trying to get the stain out. The second cup I dropped in the sink.

So I ended up snapping the remaining small uprights off of them as I like symetry... Fasttech is still on the Ships in 7 Days status for replacements.

Then come to find out you clen the gunk off with a torch. Take the cup out, hold it with tweezers and put the butane torch to it. It will end up stark white again with no washing or scrubbing needed.

The things you learn after you break them...

I've broken at least two cups, and use them anyway until the stains just won't come out. Yes, heating them does help, and I've considered boiling them. I bought like 20 from FT to have a good backup supply, lol! They work fine in the authentic, too.

I agree the cups add to the flavor. Its true on the Eviva-t as well.

Troll, trying to get your Sat out today. I missed the Saturday morning hours, oops! I've slept horribly all week since my kitty died last weekend :(

Roxy I am so sorry to hear about your loss, it is a really heart wrenching time loosing a loved pet.

We have two princes waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge, one had to be put down way too early in life and the other had Feline Renal Failure.

I was going to post the Rainbow Bridge poem for you but every time I read it, the memories come flooding back of having to put our dear Turkish Angora "Tobey" down.

Take care and sorry again for the loss of your kitty.

Yay,
Fasttech has the ceramic cups back in stock so I grabbed 3 pairs. Now all I need is another Rose, what is the V3 like with the removable drip tip or should I just try and find another Tobeco?

Never mind the V3, I just read it was a horrible device.

I have some cups from FT. Good price but they are thinner than the genuine cups. Seems to work well though.

My rose v2s sometimes has a tendency to gurgle. I have a 1.5 Ω build with KGD cotton. I wicked it like shown in some YouTube videos and don't think I have too much cotton. I barely have the JC on, so is this normal? When it gurgles, I blow a light puff of air through the DT and it is usually good for (quite) awhile, but then it happens again. Any suggestions?

Best Regards,
F2V
