My apologies! English is a beautiful language but one thing it doesn't do well is formal gender neutral pronouns.

Does coil ID affect the quality of the vape in a certain way? I went large because I knew the amount of cotton would restrict more of the chamber and I didn't want to choke airflow too mcuh.

The airhole on the Rose is small so I don't think any size vertical affects it. I felt though that the 2mm coil gave me the best flavor of the 4 sizes I tried. You may have a different experience though :)

I think I would like to try this - I've haven't tried vertical coils in any of my builds - well, except for the Origen V2, but that's wrapped using a steel braid.
Is there a pictorial/video for building a vertical coil on the Rose? I would imagine you would build the coil normally but wrap the cotton on the outside of the coil. Then take the leg on the top part of the coil and bend it down over the cotton to trap the cotton and have both wire legs pointing down into the cup?

Search sedge's RTA sticky thread. I wrote a tutorial. It is important your top lead go into the positive post or the coil may short on the airtube.

I can't believe I did a quad one today with 4 pos leads into one post  (not on the Rose, lol!).

Thank you, Roxy. I'll do that (look at your tutorial - not the quad coil. I'm still a padawan vape learner and can barely handle dual coils).

F2V, roxy's tutorial is very good for rayon. Also crazylee has a couple of posts here in this thread with good pics of his cotton pad vertical build. He shows how to bend the legs. That's how I learned to build a vertical coil but had flooding problems until I tried roxy's method of wicking with rayon.

Thanks, Pete - I'll check those out, also.

Just ordered a beautiful Kamagong VV box mod and an Ithaka clone with a Kayfun upgrade from the classies. Can't wait to see how the juice control works with the Ithaka and Kayfun upgrade.

I think I saw that Kamagong box mod last week in the classies. From the Philippines. They do good woodwork there.

Yeah..that's the one..and it was offered with an Ithaka (GG) clone... I always wanted both..I was about to get an Axis mod a couple of months back but the voltage dial was stuck and was very difficult to move. I don't expect it to be a heavy duty ADV piece..but it's a nice piece to have...and it runs on a Texas Instruments chip...so I guess it will give a decent vape

This is the first, a bottom feed version, right out of its tube. Haven't coiled it yet, it needs a bath. I don't even need to vape it to tell you it's going to be awesome. Beautiful look, fit, finish, draw.

Standard version arrives tomorrow. I was worried I'd have buyer's remorse, NOPE. Not even.

Can I see the inside? This might be a bf atty I need.
I'm working on it. Meanwhile I'll just say that when I post the pictures, if a viewer happens to be a counterfeiter they'd best avert their eyes for I'm going to put a curse upon the pixels which will render them sterile and blind.

The well is DEEP. The juice flow passage through the 510 appears to be around 1.5mm. The air passages are indeed angled, time will tell if that works as advertised in reducing any leakage. In the BF version probably wouldn't matter anyway.
Astounding machining.
