I'm assuming the 91% is packaged the same as the Russian. It was the second day that I had it that I realized there was a bunch of stuff behind the foam. Don't know if that applies to you, but just throwing that out there for anyone/everyone. I was so excited to have it and build it (the Russian) that it didn't even cross my mind that there was more stuff hiding in there. Then again, it should be pre-assembled with all of the major parts. That sucks...

rounding third and heading home...
So, anyone have a good source for a glass replacement tank?

since they don't make glass tanks with threads on them i think it is going to be hard to find a glass tank that works without leaking- there are plenty of non-glass tanks that will work.....

Does anyone that both the KFL and the 91% like this better and has momentarily shelved their KFL?

I have both and as of right now, I like the 91% better because of the adjustable air flow control. Actually, I don't even bother with the air flow screw since I like a more airy draw. Also, this fits better on my provari and a KFL beauty ring. The KFL would leave a small gap. I'm still using the KFL though.

Lol not me.

In fact I'm going to sell mine as I already have a second KFL on the way.

Air hole whistles. Build quality is not quite on a par. Finish is horrid (subjective, I know), matches nothing except the ice roller and scratches/marks easily and for some reason, the real deal just seems to work better every time with no issues (for me at least).

Also, I didn't have any issues but I've heard tons of stories of missing parts. I even know someone whose R91 came with the airflow adjustment hole unthreaded!!!!

I own both and have decided not to buy another R91 - even though I got all the right parts. I agree that the quality and finish is lacking (by comparison) on the R91, but that's not a big deal for me. I find that I'm keeping the air adjustment matching the KFL. I don't have any need for an adjustable center pin with the KFL.

But I don't like that, these days, they cost nearly as much as the KFL - and it's apparently a crap shoot whether you get a complete system. I took a chance on a $63 pre-order and got away with it. With such a small difference in price ... German mfr ... Chinese mfr? It's a no-brainer for me.

Guess I got lucky. I love mine looking to buy another one. Parts are interchangeable with the KFL no difference but the airflow control wish I like ,drip tip and 510 pin.

As above shipped out the Kfl in preference to the 91%. Adjustable airflow and 510 for the win. Still have my 3.1 that isn't going anywhere. As regards quality difference....erm need more details as I am not seeing it. But could be looking in the wrong place. Finish does mark but have every intention of stripping it to metal anyways.

There are no marks, scratches,or any other sign of damage to my 91%.The Satin finish is a perfect match for my Satin ELA and the two together look absolutely stunning. The lettering on mine has not worn a bit and beside just one instance of a leaking issue(user fault)it has/is,complete vaping bliss. This combination of the ELA and 91% have been the only device going everywhere with me,with a .5 coil, performing blissfully.

I think the reason why so many do not like this device, other than it being a clone,is they do not own Satin finish,or Matte finish MOD's.Come on,look at the Richman,it is the same finish as the 91% and can't be kept in stock because it is so popular.Whatever the reason i think the 91% is well worth the money and the vape is spectacular.

I just got my R91 in yesterday. It matches my GP Paps IM blasted tube perfectly. Thank God. Now I finally have an atty that matches it!

Machining is definitely sub par compared to my 2 KFL's. Threads aren't as clean and have hangs when screwing down the bottom chimney section. But for what it is, I'm not bothered by it. Will set it up with yet another micro/cotton build like my KFLs.

Another mod this matches perfectly is the Atmizoo Roller with the Satin finish. It's not like stuff doesn't exist out there...

As finagle says, threads aren't as clean. They were crunchy on the chamber section on mine. It has smoothed out after some usage, though.

The finish is just a personal preference for me - unless it begins to come off. That would not be good at all. It comes close to the look of my satin ProVari, but not quite there. The ProVari has a "satin" sheen that the R91 lacks. I would call the R91 finish a dull grey rather than satin.

To be fair, this is still the highest quality atomizer I've seen come out of China and I am very happy with it.

Own and have owned a fair number of rather good atties and can't say the 91% threads have much to hang their heads about but hey that could well be luck of the draw rather than anything else. Have one and don't really intend on grabbing any more. May get an Aqua or Eden but that is all. In a happy atty place at the moment with no real must haves out there apart from perhaps another HellFire...now I have opened mouth and inserted foot watch me find something in the next few minutes lol

As the R91 is my first RBA, I am enjoying the vape a lot. However, as a chain vapor from time to time I am getting a leak from the air hole. I only fill the atty from the bottom screw so nothing has penetrated the air hole. I do not have a hard draw when vaping but I sense that I am flooding the wicking chamber from time to time which leads to the juice filling the air passage thus to leaking. Maybe I should rethink how I am positioning the ends of the wick in the chamber?
Any ideas or photos of how your wicks lay in the chamber?
