"The Russian" 91% (Kayfun Lite Clone With A Twist)

I forgot I even ordered this from vaportek till about a month ago. I was one of the first people to buy it when they had 100 in stock and I bought it when there were 98 left for the cheaper price. They still haven't even updated their site with news. I'm over this thing now the air hole is to small and its to big and bulky. Seeing now that the new clones of the clone came out before I got my clone and its 1/3rd the price I'm canceling.

After using the r91 for a couple of days i caved in and bought a clone from chinabuye, as others said will keep everyone posted to see how it performs.

And now there is a kayfun lite Plus...LOL .What's the difference....wait for it.....adjustable air hole like the Russian 91%. They should have done that in the first place they copied the clone..lol.

I wouldn't really say they copied the clone, since the placement is very different. In that sense, everything is a copy of everything, you know? I'd be willing to bet the KFL+ is overall better than the 91%, because I like my 2 KFLs better than my 91% even as they are.

Plus the KFL+ has a no-leak o-ringed screw for filling. To me, that's the better upgrade of the 2. I've never had an issue with the airflow of my KFLs.

I use my R91 as a lung-hitter. I leave the airflow screw out completely for maximum draw.

puchox, I ordered mine at around 8pm West coast time yesterday, 11/6/2013 and they are still saying "Pending". I'm gland you ordered one as well. We can compare notes. I did purchase an Ithaka clone from Fasttech, so I guess I have the plastic part I need for the Kayfun clone we both ordered. They said it would take anywhere from 10 to 30 days to receive. I guess time will tell

I can tell you the RH ithaka and 91% clear tanks don't interchange, nor the tobeco Rocket clears.

ahhhh . Thanks puchox. I sure hope that clear tank is interchangeable. But I think Innocuous says they are not interchangeable. Well lets hope our Fasttech Ithaka is different .. lol

But I'm thinking that the Kayfun 3.1 will work with the Ithaka. pochox willl know for sure soon.

Never had a problem with the fill screw on the 91% you can just unscrew the top and fill that way. Some like the airy draw of the KFL .Guess it depends on the build KFL & 91% are identical except for the air adj. Putting the air adj on the bottom does not seem to be better to me kind of a pain to make small adjustments.

Yup, how about that. Finally might get the 91%. I placed my order on the 3rd of August, Geeesh! I've heard of waiting longer for vapor gear though. Bet Vapor Tek doesn't do a preorder like that again.
I checked their site this A.M. and the DHL # wasn't there. Now the wait with a Super Typhoon in the way headed for China.

the number is there now and yes, vaportek is saying they will never do pre-orders again. the blame belongs to kebo not vaportek but people are such idiots when it comes to their stuff- have to have it NOW!.......
dhl tracking says it has passed through hong kong sorting facility.......

i wasn't implying that i would get one ahead of other people on the list- i was just grateful that someone who waited this long can't wait a few more days. the more people cancel the better chance to pick up another one. let's hope we both get another one.....

I wasn't talking about who would get it first tho i was trying to say what will happen in general, because that waitlist is probably pretty long by now
