I just fill my Russian from the top via the PBusardo's review method. Hold your finger over the air intake hole, unscrew the top piece, fill er up almost to the top, screw the top on just till she catches, turn tank upside down then tighten it up. Make sure and lube the O-ring on the top cap first so you don't inadvertently unscrew the funnel top next time you fill it up. I also make sure the funnel top is tight before filing it with juice.

It's improved over the KFL.. It's been mentioned at least a dozen times in this thread....

I would admend that saying many were able to ORDER it under $70.00. Has anyone... ANYONE... received one yet?!!!
Yep, there was a group in the UK which received theirs... More than likely the hold-up on the others is due to the manufacturer addressing over-tightening of parts at the factory.

It is definitely out....I received mine two weeks ago....I pre-ordered from Ezig-online, the German site for 58 Euro if I remember correctly...

I remember seeing PBusardo's review of the Russian and he had a problem with filling through the fill hole using the needle tip bottle that came with it. He ended up using a bottle with a plastic tip like this and was able to fill it with no leakage at all:
I don't know if that is the needle tip you are referring to.
I bought a few bottles with tips like that from gotvapes, but they leak by the base of the needle part. I might try to find some of those tips instead. Thanks for the idea!
I've done that a few times, but worry about a huge mess if it does unscrew the chimney. I'm glad there is an option if I screw up the valve though.
Like someone else said, many have ordered (and some recieved) the 91% for $60-70. If they were both identical products and readily available, I would buy the original for $20 more. That's not the case though. I do have a Mini v2.1 on its way, and I'm sure svoemesto will get more of my money in the future if it's as good as some people say. Between my mom and myself, we spent $420/month smoking a pack a day, so I'm done skimping on vape gear. It's not the money, it's the availability and choosing what's best. Surprisingly, between the KFL and the 91%, the 91% is best.
If I remember correctly, either Mount Baker vapor or Heather's Heavenly carries the plastic needle tips for reasonably cheap.

Hi, just a heads up.
1) I went ahead and purchased a bagfull of them... they don't work
. They don't fit any of our standard juice bottles, I don't know they are manufactured for what!2) Good news is, The Russian doesn't need them anyway. It can be filled with our standard needle top juice bottles.

For what it's worth, the green 18 gauge luer lock fill tips + a luer lock syringe or bottle are perfect for the fill valve in a full-size Russian or Kayfun 3.1.
